I was thinking, my 240sx arrives soon from USA and I will face the same problems as you guys. KA engine in there...

I´m building an angry CA right now but I don´t want to swap in an old CA harness in there, too much work for a cracked old harness. After a few days of thinking I contacted a Swedish engine electronics company, they are building Piggy Backs for supercharged Viper´s and Honda´s in general.I´ll use this for my car combined with the KA EMS to control the CA.

The nice thing with system is that you can run huge injectors if you like, you can use map sensor instead of MAFS and no other limitations like the other Piggy´s, Uniship and things like that...You also got AUX input and output and this is how I´ll control the ignition, no more ugly cam sensor. I will mount a regular small bosch sensor instead on the backside of the cam.

And to my question. If I make a bolt on harness to connect KA wires and CA engine + a start program, is it interesting for you guys? Be able to tune the engine without problems?

No idea for you to contact this company yet, this is only a thing we talked about, nothing decided yet.

If we do this, I´ll send you the stuff and be your contact, only way to get the price where we want it.

/Mike

My main thing is using a KA AEM EMS in particular.

probably a much higher demand for a piggyback that works with the ca18 ecu/loom, since there are many up and running.Depends on the price also. How does it compare to the Emanage Ultimate, which can also run MAP instead of the mafs ?

Other piggybacks I've "read" of working on the ca18;Blue Emanage on a stock ca18, T3 turbo @23psi for 2 years. ImpressiveAnother sxoc member claim to have perfectpower.com SMT6 functioning

If you guys are interested in those prebuilt harness adapters I'm actually considering setting up a project where I take the Megasquirt Connector and with a few feet of wiring have it connected to the Stock ECU connector that way you use your stock harness, plug it into the adapter and plug it into megasquirt.

In essence it would cost anywhere from $220-$280. That costs includes the Megasquirt ECU along with the adapter.

Heres a example of what I'm talking about but for a DSM.

I've already configured megasquirt to use my stock sensors which was retardly easier than I thought.

That´s also a good idea, give it a try! If you just swap the ECU, what do you think of the KA harness and contacts, do you think it will match the CA?

Just want to make this clear to the other guys, I wont use any parts of the CA harness, no CA ECU, everything will stay KA but a Piggy on top.The only CA part will be the engine.

If you compare it to other Piggy Back´s this system out perform them all, other systems tweaks the signal for example injector a few %, this beauty use the stock signal as a trigger and work as a stand alone, this system gives you no limits.

The other good thing is the customer service, these guys really build it by hand and knows exactly what they do, they can custom program stuff if we want to.As stock it comes with nitrous control and other fun stuff and it can control very high revs, many race bikes use it.

Swedish using a KA harness shouldnt be a problem, the one problem you will face is Ignition because the KA uses a Distributor and the CA uses the CAS with COP and ignitor.

Other than that shouldnt be a problem with the KA Harness since the CA and KA use the same sensors and resistance values.

Definatly would like to hear your input on your answer for ignition.

This Piggy got a lot of special features and we can give it a trigger signal from stock CA cam sensor or custom sensor. No need to even think about the distributor, this is the cool part.

If I tell them how we like it they will custom make a system.
