Thought I would say hi. Live in Atkins, Arkansas. Just picked up a 1977 king cab that is all original. The truck has 86800 miles on it and everything seems to be working except the fuel gauage. The truck even has the orginal hub caps with beauty rings. Great to see this site with all the help!! Happy New Year to everybody near and far!!

I have three 1971 PL521 pickups.  There is a trap door in the bed that you can pry up and get access to the fuel  tank top.  The fuel gauge connection is right there, also.   Look on your truck,  they might have still been  doing that in 1977.

Hey    This is the guy from NE Arkansas.  I will be pulling the motor from the king cab parts truck soon. Just wondering if you would be interested in any of the parts that are left.  I will not be using the transmission, or any of the running gear that I know of as of yet.  I would rather give the remainder of it away before I just junk it. Let me know if you need anything.
