For those who owns 2011 QX56, do you see a piece of plastic under the car? What is that for? Do you think I can remove it for more ground clearance when I go off-road and less drag on freeway?

That actually DECREASES drag. It's there to smooth the undercarriage so that it's more aerodynamic.
If you're taking a 2011 QX56 off-roading to the extent that you need more ground clearance, you need a real off-road vehicle.
Removing the plastic won't increase your ground clearance. It will, however, expose lots of important parts to potential damage, as well as dirt and debris.

Thanks for your replay. I didn't realize that piece of plastic is doing such important thing for my car. I am going to leave it alone. I think I am just going to get new rim and all-terrain tire for maximizing its off-road capability

Good plan.
You may have better luck finding off-road parts overseas. The '11 QX is based off the Patrol, which isn't sold in the US. There's no telling what those crazy Saudis are doing with those trucks!
Post up some pics and your impressions on the truck when you can. I'm a big fan of the new QX.
