That is some crazy sh*t right there! Chances are probably a zillion to 1 and I too, have been the victim of that very same thing! When I lived in San Antonio for a year, a friggin bolt went through both the tire and the wheel...couldn't figure out how it happened and the guys at the tire store were dumbfounded.....drove around for quite awhile with 3 like wheels and one nasty black replacement cause I couldn't afford to replace the one with the holeSHIFT_COUPE wrote:Wow! What are the chances...
lol werd i agree i was expectin some sexy engine pics lolJose3.5 wrote:This thread = FAILI thought it was the finished turbo install...
That one big a** nail/screw to go through the tire and rim. Maybe a rim repair shop can fix it for you
Good idea, I'm going to check tomorrow. Argh it better not be. The car seemed to be fine driving today though so I doubt it. But better be safe than sorry. It was dark when I changed the tire...Mr.Coupe wrote:Damn dude that is one long azz bolt. That looks like a suspension bolt to me. If you messed around with your suspension while doing the turbo R&D I would check the suspension to make sure it's not part of your car. Not saying that your work is sloppy, but hey it has happend in the past to other great techs and it will keep happening .
