Pictures or ideas on rewelding d/side shock mount

My nissan has the d/side fenderwell rust at the seam between the shock mount and the sub frame. Im not a bad welder so i have no problem just getting it done myself. I have 2 questions. 1. what thickness is the framerail on the 240s, my guess is proly 1/8 inch. And for thoes who have done it, what did you use to hold to the acctual inner fender? I have a few fenders laying around and was wondering if that thick enough orrr maybe i can steal this stuff off an old bumper support. I tries searching and was disappointed. Let me know guys

someone had to have done this, all i want is like a direction to take it.... if not, next tuesday ill do a writeup
