Did they sale those in England? or did you have to import it like we do in the states?

Hi there,

Thank you for your comments. :)I paid £40,000 for it brand-new, which I imported it from Japan. I don't know how much this is in $.

Mayhem- Yes they sell Nissan Skylines officially in England. In 1998 they made 80 R33 GTR V-Spec's for sale in England, and they now sell the R34 GTR V-Specs. They made 100 official UK R34 GTR's, although there are about 8000-10000 Nissan Skyline's in England.

I imported mine, as the V-Spec ll wasn't officially for sale in England. I understand the circumstances in America, as you can only import them through Motorex.

They can get all the good stuff in England like they can in Japan. We're the only ones that get the high hard one...

Would you like to drive an Integra little boy? It's got cool wheels and it's really high performance. :sad

The Type R is of course the exception! :D I guess I should have said "Civic DX" but I was trying to be different.

Oh, and welcome to NICO! I was a little rude in my last post. I hope you stick around. That's a sweeeeeeeet GT-R!!!!

BTW, do you prefer Guinness or Murphy's? Or something local that we Yankees don't know about?

Hi Repo!

Thank you for your welcome. :) Thanks, I've only had it for about 5 months, as it was bought brand-new at that time.

I don't drink a lot of alcohol, but Guinness is very famous over here. :D

Hmm.... Silver - one of my favourite colours for a car too :)

Damn Yankee vehicle laws put a stop to me bringing in one from the UK or Japan too :(

It is not like the UK here when u import a vehicle - and that sucks :(

Then again I only pay around a pound a gallon for petrol ;)

If you find it amusing that our American friends associate Guinness and Murphys with England, you may not be surprised to hear that a security guard at work knew exactly where my home country of Scotland is........

It's very nice, and pretty sad to think that it cost you so little compared to some things we pay for in North America. What made you come to these boards? I'm sure there's forums specific to the R34 you could benefit from.I'm not trying to drive you away, It's just that we don't know alot about R34's

Hi there,

Thank you all again for your kind comment. ^-^

Yeah, I'm a member of the GTR owners club UK, of which I've been a member for over a year. I came here as I'm interested in mostly all Nissan models, of which I like the Infiniti G35 in USA.

palmer, That's great! Maybe we could compare specifications. :DI'll put the specs up here now:

Head Gasket: 1.2mm metal -TomeiCam Gear: with vernier -MINE'SInjector: 600cc -MINE'STurbine Outlet: Stainless Steel -MINE'SAir Flow Meter: Big Capacity -MINE'SCam Shaft: In:260 Out:260 10.5mm lift -MINE'SOil Baffle Plate: Triple Flow Cam Cover Baffle Plate -MINE'SOil Pan: Big Capacity -TRUSTAir Filter: VX-Air Filter -MINE'SExhaust: Titanium -MINE'STurbine: GT2530 -HKSIntake Pipe: Aluminum -NISMODownpipe: Stainless Steel -MINE'S

Strut Tower Bar: Titanium -NISMOBrakes: 6 POT -APPropeller Shaft: Carbon fibre -MINE'SClutch: Twin Plate -NISMOBrake Pads: Carbon Metallic -PFCSuspension Links: Circuit Link -MINE'SStabilizer: Reinforcement -MINE'SSuspensions: G-attack R-TUNE -NISMO

At the moment, my car is producing some 550BHP, which is plenty enough for me at the moment. :D
