Pictures of My New EX35 - Dark Currant

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Nice pics and nice ride ... looks a lot like mine!

I don't have the roofrack crossbars - do they make any noise at highway speeds?

Cheers,David

P.S. Is it time yet to remove "PR" from your profile?

Hows that light color holding up ?

There was one of these in the Showroom as well as a model with a light Grey Interior... and they were badly marked up with scuffs.

I have pack of Armor All wipes in the car with me. I even wash my hands before I get into the car many times, just to keep the steering wheel clean. Everything is fine for now!

Thanks, no no wind noise that I can appreciate. Yes, I had overlooked changing my location on my profile. Probably just subconsciously trying to hang on to PR.

Great choice on color, it's a great ride Congrats.

I used to live in the same complex that you live in. Did they finally get the gate issues figured out?

David,

Yes, the roofrack crossbars do make noise at highway speeds. When I bought my EX35 the car did not have the crossbars installed. A week later I jumped on to the E-way back to the dealer for the install. On the way back home on the E-way there was a big difference in wind noise with the crossbars on. I used the crossbars to move some stuff and then remove them from the roofracks to reduce the wind noise. I will reinstall them when I need them.

Thanks, Zack. I asked because we noticed the same symptom with our Subaru, so only put on the crossbars when we really need them.

Caribmon ... I'd be interested to know if you find the car quieter without the crossbars. (Maybe you didn't find it noisy, but it would be quieter still without them.)

Cheers,David

Sorry, I haven't been here for a while. Didn't know there was an issue with the gates. They seem just fine.

I couldn't tell you, since I've never taken them off.
