Yesterday I went and completed the transaction for 2 cars I bought for 3 grand.

One of them is a 90 Nissan 300ZX 2 seater N/A. Overall a pretty nice car. 5 speed, T-tops, etc. Has a polyurethane front cap that looks funky in the pictures, but actually isn't too bad in person. The engine is out of it, as the block and crank were sent to be magnafluxed. The 5 speed's clutch has plenty of meat still on it, and the car doesn't appear to have been driven much since 05.

I thought the interior was fairly cool; I have never really been into the ZX's that much, but this tweed interior that wraps around the console and underdash is pretty neat looking. The seats have a few minor tears in them, and the leather is worn off of the steering wheel a bit, but all in all seems pretty good.

As for the Camaro, let me just say this is NOT what I was expecting for 2500 bucks. Someone threw ALOT of money into this LT1, and it shows. 6-speed, T-Tops, leather interior. All in all a nice car.

The fellow selling it doesn't seem to be a "car person". The rear end makes a nasty clunking sound as it goes down the road, and thats why he parked it and is selling it. He swears the rearend needs to be rebuilt, but I sincerely believe it is the U-Joint at the rear diff that is worn out. Even though another Z28 rear end costs only 400 bucks at a salvage yard.

All in all, a good day was had by all yesterday.

Here are a few pictures of both cars http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/...rc=ph

Congrats on the purchases. Glad to hear you are taking care of the engine on the Z. But in my honest opinion, that front bumper is hideous.

You think so? I wonder what an original front cap would cost me.

Thanks dude. I think I will drive the Camaro for a month or two, then I think I should be able to sell it for about 6500 or so. Down here in Louisiana people get big stiffies for Chevy power, so I shouldn't have a problem selling it.

Then I can use the rest of the money to put the motor back in the ZX, and keep that, and then finish off a few more of my MG projects.
