I finally got some pictures of my new ride. I bought it a couple of months ago and have spent a lot of time and some money fixing it, cleaning it, and putting my radio crap in there.

Let me know what you think.

Oh, I only paid $1,000 for the car and have about $1,500 in it now.

Still need to get the thermostat replaced, put this fuel filter that I bought on, and flush the rear dif sometime.

Kenwood 4 channel amp for speakers in front doors and rear deck:

10" bazooka self-powered - plenty of bass, sounds great.

Best Buy's house brand head unit. Looks good, sounds good and has USB port on front for jump drive. Also, Alphasonic EQ for complete bass control from dash.

I still have to make or get some kind of plate to put between the HU and EQ:

With 25 pictures, you would be here awhile with a 56k modem.

I painted the wells black. The flash in the photo draws attention to it but in real life you don't really notice it. It just kind of makes everything under there dissappear.

Car looks REALLY nice! Did you have some leather/vinyl work done on the seats/doors.?

Front seat bottoms and front door leather had already been replaced when I got the car.

Looks like a sweetheart. Snap your console trim piece back down.I had a similar conundrum with mounting the radio, and would up leaving-off the bezel and mounting it flush with the wood instead of standing proud.

Which trim piece? The one around the gear shift? All the mounting tabs are broken and it just kind of sits there.

I guess I should've taken a picture at a slight angle to show it. It actually looks good to me (except the missing part between the two) like it is.

Oh, and in the first set of pictures the radio and climate control and console trim piece were all just hanging. Later I mounted all the radio stuff more solid and took the dash pictures.

Did I mention that the timing belt was done about a year ago and I still got it for $1,000?
