I was hoping that someone I knew with a 240, that had lsd, would show up. The Z doesn't have lsd yet and it broke anyway. I offered to put an lsd in Fred's 240, but he didn't have all the parts needed. Bummer
u could have taken mine its not SR'd ,but it can get sideways pretty damn easy...with no efort at all i guess thats were all the torque from being a truck engine comes into play .. hahahahahahaah:ylsuper

Oooo.. we are talkin smack now :)

I wouldn't get too far ahead of yourself chief.

Don't confuse an SR on 9 psi with my car if you wanna play by those rules.

I know what my car is capable of ... and even with the N/a KA I humbled a few SRs around here, I'm not a n00b to building engines.

The numbers from that dyno were low, thats how Mustang dyno's read.

Not tryin to make excuses but I'm sure that Carlos's car is putting down more than that, as well as the WRX, Darrin's G, Nicoles beast, etc.

That and Nicole just reminded me that they didn't push Carlos's car at all on the dyno.

It turns out that they still had it in 2WD mode when the ran the WRX and S4.~LOL~

They also didn't take Carlos's car to the rev limiter(far from it).I think that they were scared about breaking something.

There were a lot of awesome cars out at the meet!

yeah the dyno was set up wrong when they dyno'ed my car, the S4, and fixed it for the Evo VIII that was after us. The computer was still reading 2wd mode so it was calculating wrong.

for a reference, my WRX put down 175. Corey's Evo put down 160, they swapped the system and the Evo put down 240 the next run.

I am going back this friday for some free dyno time to see what it should REALLY be. But as for the 2wd cars, everything was fine. But it does read low, about 20%, as do all Mustang Dynos compared to Dynojets.

How come knowone told me I could go play. Next time I'll just have to ask. It's kinda hard to ask someone I just met, "hey can I pound on your car".

It doesn’t sound "that" bad... I wouldn’t be surprised if a line like that has been used at a bar/club, just not in regards to cars lol... so if you put it that way I dunno about it then... lol ;) j/k Actually I don't think I got to meet you at the Indy meet or this meet... but to expand with the shirt idea and to spoof mtv's "pimp my ride"... how bout a shirt for those of us with lsd that says "Drift My Ride" haha that show is definitely worth a good laugh...

No one ever said anything about the KA-T and all of a sudden your bashing SR owners. Thats why I posted that.

The SR vs. KA debate is a never-ending one. Always has been, always will be. We all know that. Personally, I love my KA-T. What ruined SR's for me is a lot of the new or younger people thinking it is the ONLY way to go and be fast. Which is in no way true....I'll prove that one at the next meet with my latest rebuild. I've had a KA-T for over 5 years. Longer than a lot of people have even thought about SR's or KA-T's or even 240's for that fact. In saying that....there are SR's that I will have the utmost respect for. One of which is Alan's and the other being CNichols. They don't BS around when building a ride. We all have our preferences. Let's make a thread somewhere else to argue our KA vs. SR ideas. Matter of fact there are about 97897656 threads already. OK, done. My .02 has been added.

Now back to the Meet Pics !!!!! wooo......it was tons o' fun. :D

Regardless of what you may have ment by your post using the term "sell out" to describe someone who went to an SR is not exactly friendly demeanor.

I'm sure you'd feel the same way if I was to post the contra.

I agree. If you add in the 20 percent I was making about 234.8 at I'll take the 194.8 second to the Mighty Carlos. Plus I saw them cut me off at 6200rpm they could have gone at lest up to 6800.:(

Carlos - I wish I would have had more of a chance to chat with you at the meet.

I was the guy who asked you if those rims you have come in chrome... Your 240 is beautiful, and I thought it was really cool that you could still laugh when you had to pull the drag slicks off in the rain.
