As discussed earlier, the wheel size should not matter if the offset and wheel width are right. No matter what wheel size you run, the overall diameter does not change if you use the right size tire. It's just less tire and more wheel....adidas2go wrote:awesome, nice job! The questions of the soft suspension making 18"+ rims rub is still out there tho
Even with +45 offset and 8" rim my tire still doesn't clear the fender. You will have to find a +45 offset and 7" or less rim not to rub if a bottom out situation were to occur. Oh and who's talking about the wheel diameter2brian0 wrote:

ya i know what you mean, i wish the stock rims were 17s but w/e when the weather gets nicer i'll thtow new rims and tires on itnismofool wrote:looks good, but i think its maybe cuhz the 2.5's wheels are smaller, there seems to be more of a gap then the 3.5
You mentioned earlier that there might be rubbing issues with 18+ wheels and all I was stating was that the wheel size really has nothing to do with it. Rubbing issues will be all about the wheel width and offset as the overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo should not change with the wheel size. That is all I was trying to say, not trying to pick any fights....adidas2go wrote:

ya with my fogs umm... well i want to try an idea with using the empty fog spots, i went to a local hardware store and picked up a roll of fine window screen, for the moment is just sitting between the bumper and the fog light cap, i want to pipe the two empty holes into my engine, now idk if its going to work but thats kind of the fun of stuff like this, but i'm still working out how i'm going to do it, idk if i want to aim it at the intake or at the engine. the idea being just to get more cold air under the hood, idkBlackNWhite wrote:Lol, I was looking at the BEFORE pics... and I was like, where's the drop?
The drop like almost gets rid of the wheel gap. I wonder how 20's would fit.
What did you do to your fogs? They look like you did something to them.
I have 18 on my with the drop and i haven't notice any rubbing, but the ride and look is great...adidas2go wrote:awesome, nice job! The questions of the soft suspension making 18"+ rims rub is still out there tho
Yea i understand where you are coming from. However wheel size does matter to a point. You take old boy with 24's for example. Hes not going to run lowering springs. Not gonna happen without rub. There could possibly be a rubbing issue with 18" + on the 2.5 because the suspension fluctuates much more because its much softer. Therefore the chance of bottoming out/rubbing to that effect increases greatly with the 2.5. Your right also that the offset and rim width play the biggest factor in rubbing, as far as the wheel goes. Im just saying 18"+ because 18's are where you start to see 7.5-8" rim width more normally2brian0 wrote:
