Here is a few shots from my intake. I had to make all of my i/c piping. I am running a DSM bov and it is recirculated.

Sorry its so big, but I just took the pictures and didnt have time to resize.

Here is one I made not the greatest but it works.

The pipe was from some sort of Honda CAI I think. I just cut it so it mounted nice against the turbo and welded in a piece for the recirculation. Just need to get real couplings for it.

Is there really much of a difference in power or throttle response between a recirculating BOV and an atmospheric BOV? Or is it similar to the hotpipe/coldpipe bov arguement?

a recirculating BOV system will prevent the motor from studdering because you not losing air that the MAF already acounted for. Im going to solve this problem by mounting the MAF 8 or so inches infront of the throttle body, so i can still use a atmospherical BOV on the hot pipe, just without any of the disadvantages associated with atmospheric BOV's.

There is no difference in initial throttle response. In fact for some reason when I run my atmospheric valve, I start off with a little more boost at idle than my recirc. But the studderiny may occur depending on the setup, I experience no studdering or negative effects because my idle is set high. Some people just spend money to get an electronic device like and HKS EIDS or ApexI SAFC.

Those tubes look pretty cool.

So how do you run a blowthrough setup like that? I know this question has been asked, but i never really saw an answer

all you have to do to run blowthrough is put your maf inline downstream of the turbo/bov.

only problem is blowthrough.. oil that naturaly flows through your intake track. catch tanks fix that...

Jesus, that first piping setup is janky. I like robbbby's... really nice and clean.

Isn't the air going to fast for the MAFS to measure it if you put it on the pressure side of the turbo?

I made this out of a stanza intake tube, I capped all but one of the stock ports. I used that one port for the breather system and I made my own port for the blow off which is the white pvc just left of the breather tube and ps resivour.
