My car..Well i got the car about two years ago and havent really done that much but i am pleased of how it came out so far.

The Story of how i got my carWell living in Wa state. Cars tend to have rust haha but i found this car on craigslist for 2200 ran and it was bone stock. 186k good condition. when i drove the car home my battery died hole in the radiator alternator was barely good, water pump sucked d!ck, thermostat sucked. So that following morning bought all the stuff i needed flushed everything and replaced what was needed.

Ka's with around 200k on the motor usually burn oil and the timing chain was rattling like a mofo. i looked around for a motor and was going to go sr but i decided to stick with a single cam. i got a new block and rebuilt it so i have a fresh motor. with all i spent i could of bought an Sr easy but im glad i didnt go that route yet.( one day...) i know you guys are like

since i have a good motor now i started to work on suspension and get bigger brakes. i currently have megan street coilovers, circuit sport Rucas, circuit sport tension arms. 180 sx front sway bar. i need a lot more stuff but im broke.

Picture time!!!

what it started out likeClean interiorwheels coils lipSSR reverse mesh and skirtsdont ask what wheels they are i wont tell you!

ive gone through 7 sets of wheels haha but my computer crashed so i dont have all the pictures :[

having fun on a track can you say side wall flex?

currently i have 002s on right now.

Im moving down to AZ in august Maybe thats when i get my "build" going

looks good bro. everything you have done so far is a positive. if you just rebuilt your single cam why not throw some boost at it? alot of the parts you put on the single cam can be put on an sr later if you go that route.

less work to swap in another sohc as opposed to a dohc. besides, the sohc is just as capable as the dohc. i still can't comprehend why there's so much hate for the sohc.

No hate just confusion. Twice as many intake and exhaust valves = engine runs smoother and efficiently.
