Picture of DE tach?

I recently picked up an 89 240sx that had a DE swapped into it... but I noticed that the redline isn't where it's suposed to be, 7k, I believe. Isn't the redline on the DOHC 6.5 or something?

Maybe they didn't swap the tach, someone mind posting me a picture off of thier DE?

if the redline is at 7k, then that tach is probably from a sr20. is the speedometer is kmh or mph?

im not sure but it seems to me that nissan put the redline at almost 7k right when they switch to the DE and then lowered it to 6.5kafter a year or two, I have an early 92 so my moter is from 91 and I have the higher redline.and Id bet that 91s13 has an early modle de too my guess is they just though better of it and lowered it for longevity, but I dont know how much actual differance there are in the motors

S13 DOHC KA motor redline is 6900.(if you look closely, the redline starts just one notch before the 7K mark)

S14 KA motor redline is 6500.
