Yes, and the front end could use some love and hammering.

And a sunroof sweet.

why do you remove it at the track? and do you drift your truck or do you autox it? id like to make mine be a daily driver, but also very driftable..... so i know m guna want to lower the back some more, and get some front suspension.... right now its on bumop stops, so i need the drop spindles then i can crank the torsion bars back up to give me some give

i remove it to lower the COG a little more... we all run with our windows down so the extra drag is negligible

i autocross it... if you want to drift yours you may want weld the diff and make sure the motor can run at high rpms for long periods of time

i'd like drop spindles as well... but i need to look into it some more. with drop spindles you need to get new shocks (drop shocks) which i don't think are as stiff as my current ones

i still have a slight bit of give before the bump stops... i do get on them under hard cornering but going down the road they're fine

there is those nytrogen drop shocks that you choose the resistance on... and i think im guna cut my bump stops in half also... and i am trying (hard) to find someone around me thet has experience in welding them... no such luck...... can i just bring it to a really really good and reputable welder? is it that big of a deal? you just weld the spiders right? i heard someone say something about the pin one time too so now im kind of unsure what really gets welded....

i have no idea what would need to be welded... but any good welder should be able to take care of it

i wonder how stiff you can adjust those shocks... i'll have to look into those

That poor exhaust would be eaten up by the potholes in my town in one sad hour. Love the dropped look though. It's so tempting to do on mine....

haha that exhaust has been on for a day, people get pissed at me cuz i drive so cautious! i look like a grandpa driving a minitruck! every set of r&r tracks, i slow down to about 5mph, every manhole, pothole, speed bump, and or spots that look rough, i go down to about 5mph!!! it rides so rough! but its fine as long as it looks good! everey one around here comments on it had a few older gentlemen tell me it looks like s*** and thats n thats not what a truck was ment for! i jus smile and say to each his own.... im a minitrucker...... and i like it LOW AND SLOW!!!!

jus a lil info on me... im 17, guna be 18 in december, dropt out of school last year at the beginning of my junior year due to many reasons. got my GED within 2 weeks of that. got ahold of the local college, they have one of the best automotive programs around, they said to fill out the papers, and now i am starting college, as a 17 year old, in about a month! then looked into the national guards right away, went and took my tests, i got a 40 on my asvab, i only needed a 30! so it was all good, went to take my physical, i had athletes foot... so they told me to take care of it and come back in a month... got rid of it came back, all good!! passed everything! but within that month they changed some of the standards and put restrictions on who can come in! one of the restrictions now was you needed atleast a 50 on your asvab, well i only had a 40, no big deal ill jus study a lil and go retake it! well there is also another restrictoin brought into place..... no one with a GED may join!!! well FML!!! so i guess getting into the guards is out of the question... i guess in north dakota there is too many joining, and they need to limit who can and cant join! im verry pissed about it, shouldnt i be "grand fathered" in?

well i jus figured id be on here quiet a bit and would jus let you all know a lil bit about me!

I used to have a 72 luv with a 350 v8 in it. what a blast..I miss that truck. It was slammed in the front, big racing tires in the back, jet black with a custom hood scoop, modified suspension, and a pontiac 350 turbo trans with a quick shifter auto! Need less to say, since it was my first car, I wrecked it.

Nice ride height. Try to reroute the exhaust tho. you have any idea where those side mirrors came from? The roads here in the caribbean are terrible had to raise mine back up 2" to get across the humps in the street where I live - the street is not wide enough to angle across.

both of my other trucks.. well there eye sores!

OK! so 1979 chevy luv, got it 3 years ago, painted it, drove it for 2 months, brought it to school halfway thru the year and brought it to auto class to put new radiator in, i said to one of my friends it be cool to put in a 350... next day i was sick, i come back the next day, and my motor and transmission are on the floor! so we started to do the 350 swap, i was pissed but by the time he took it out, it might as well get the trans plant now! so we got all out mounts and everything made, motor fit, transmission fit... so i got a s10 rear end, needed to rebuild the motor first, so i got everything worked out, jus need the motor and a few odds and ends...... well its the end of the school year, no time to build the motor, well last day of school comes, and the teacher dropps it off the car lift... sideways... trashed! i wasnt in the room at the time or i prolly woulda killed him! brought it home, cut the top off cuz it was crushed in, so its a convertable now, still not going, havent touched it since last summer..... going to work on it next summer tho, and hopefully finish it!!!

right after paint

after bumb a$$ teacher and choped top, and removed from frame

ok and my d50, got it last year about this time, drove it till the begining of this year, and the brakes went out, and one thing led to another, and now im bagging it! sorry i dont have any before pics, or any good ones at all!! im doing an 80's theme for this one!

and the 04 powerstroke, 6.0L

and my 14 year old brothers toyota.......

sag will be sweet man!

purple is a little light... but i think it works because of the fact that its flat... if it was gloss it'd have to be darker... looks good man

thanks for the compliments guys

and as far as cost, i wanted a decent job done, so it was about 4 bux a can...... primer and actual paint were same price.... took about 6 cans primer...... the suckiest part of painting is the prep! make sure it is smooth and CLEAN!!!!!! acetone IS your friend!
