Pics step by step how to change cabin filter and air filter on 2011 QX56 to 2016 QX80

I decided to change my cabin filter and air filter on my 2012 Infiniti QX56.

I realized many people have done this and talked about it, but I can't find pics or detailed video of the process. So this afternoon I decided to change these and take pictures to make a thread to help people as best as possible so that they can do their own, if they had wanted to do it but never sure how to go about it. I know pictures always help a lot.

So, here are pictures.

I have had my 2012 QX56 for about 7 months now and have put 17,000 miles on it and have been offroad a lot and I knew these were dirty. So, I ordered them from ebay and decided to do this today.

Cabin Filter: OEM Nissan Filter B7277-1CA1A. $41.73 shipped.
Air Filter: Beck/Arnley 042-1863. $23.49 shipped.

Both brand new filters

Locate where cabin filter is located. Behind glove box

Pull down the lower part below the glove box. It drops down easy. I pulled it all the way down and off the inserts that supports it, so it can be completely on the floor.


Locate the 3 screws that you need to unscrew. You need a torx screw driver for this.
