Make me jealous, every day I see another s13 that makes me wish I had more money to sink into mine.

Good luck with the rest of your setup.

Very very nice! I am doing a silvia front end conv here soon as well. What crossmember are you using... does your hood close? From the pics the motor looks like it'll hit the hood. Just wondering... and again... that is one of the best examples of an S13 i've seen!

hey,

thanks all. bonnet needs some of the ribbing cut out of it due to the plenum and throttle cable. i guess i will work that out when i finish it off. I dont want to bonnet scoop thats for sure.

silvia front end conversion. so you will have like a silieighty huh? At the moment the car is just a standard bodywise. all S13 silvial. gonna get a kit for it, but nothing to wild. just want it to look slick if u know what i mean.

Yeah, i'm going for the sileighty look. I am looking into body kits just for fmic reasons. I have pretty much decided on the East Bear kit since it has a large intercooler opening, yet still has the stock silvia K look to it with just a larger front opening. They have a really good reputation for fitment and are kind of a rare japanese company (kinda also why I like it... prices aren't too bad either). I am also going with the square headlights b/c I like the look better. What kits are you looking into?

not sure. maybe gracer/veilside. dunno. whats the eastbear kit look like, any pics.

opps

also i used the r32 crossmember and engine mounts and power steering.

auto trans crossmember needs to be shortened and welded a bit of metal to either end so it bolts up to the chasis whole.

and I am going with this version of their side skirts

I used the R32 crossmember as well... I think I am going with the A31 to try and fix the geometry of everything and lower the center of grav. and all (plus the trans bellhousing is super close to the firewall). Japanese Motorsports said they used the A31 Xmember in their swap and eveything bolted in perfectly with no problems... even the factory drive shaft worked with no problems. Mine worked fine, but I had to trim the shield around where the output shaft comes out.

Nice pics...I like the way you put the FMIC on blocks in front where it would be if it was connected. I fixed your links.

Nice car! When your done you should corner weigh it and post the results, I'd be interested to see how similar the weight bias is to Nights...

Also, any info on the motor/clip (prices, milage, what was included, etc) would be great. Please tell me that beautiful engine is not attached to an auto transmission...

for now it is auto. as thats what was available at the time.and which came up. i saw the motor running so i guess its piece of mind. it was out of a 4 door skyline.

i may replace to a manual gearbox if the auto does decided to **** it self.

but i am happy with the auto so thats all that matters. (oh and they get better launches to so tit for tat hey)
