hey i dontwant to sound like a moron, but i live in the usa and we dont have cool cars like everyone else in the world and i would like to see some pics of bluebirds, i have never seen a nissan bluebird...my email is [email protected]

not to flame or nothing, but damn man, u could atleast rep louisiana better than that (im from waggaman, where are u at), we have awesome cars, hmmm, gt40, cobra R, viper, vette zo6, whats to complain about that, and a bluebird is a jap version of the altima, and jus out of curiosity, i see ur email has VW in it, if u have a VW, why are u on a Nissan and Infiniti forum, but like i said, dont take this the wrong way, im jus realy nosy, welcome to NICO man, enjoy, post pics of ur ride if u have any, thanx man

i live in north louisiana, i know that the bluebird/altima are supposed to be the same but i wasnt sure if they looked identical...............my screenname is vw iknow but that is from way back im trying as hard as possible to find an s13.

well there are a lot of 13s around here, u lookin for fastback or coupe??, cuz obviously the coupe is much harder to find, and they have very dependable engines, drove my old s13 till 2ook and never had one problem, good luck in ur hunt tho, keep us posted, i love car shopping, well i mostly love dreaming that i could come across that once in a lifetime deal on the car of my dreams, but hey, i love my car, and im sure u will urs, how much are u looking at spending??

coupe but hatch will do...............somethin cheap with high miles or blown motor somethin under 2,000 bucks like a thousand with a bad motor would be good.............

well thats a pretty tight budget, the one i drove was in perfect condition, but paint looked like crap, and i got 25oo for it, and thats with 2ook+ on it, so ur gonna have a narrow playing field to work with, good luck tho, and why do u want a blown engine, are u looking to do a swap of some sort, or rebuild the KA24de thats already in there??

Not much of a fan of the 3rd gen Altima, I like my 1st gen style better. I think if I was to buy a new family car it would be the Mazda 6. Each to their own though.

I like the lines of the older Altimas, and I like the new ones as well. The new one is a little big for me, but to each his own. I'd take a 240 horse V6 Maxima engine in my car anyday though.

The fact that the Bluebird is AWD and has the SR20DET in it makes it awesome.With a few after market parts you can get 300+ hp so easy.

I like the style of all the Altimas.

Not all bluebirds were AWD and/or had an sr20deT in it. There were the FWD sr20de, ka24de, and even the ca18de. It is a common misconception to think that every bluebird was AWD and Turbo, when that's not the case

true, the only bluebird with the AWD+sr2odet, was the SSS, which is rare even in japan (from what i hear)

there are two claimed bluebird engine swaps into first gen altimas. I've seen the engine bay pictures of one, but never seen them in working order. I'm sure there is probably one out there that no body knows about.

o, ive got a quick question for you bro, u say that some bluebirds came with the ka24de, however ive been under the inpression the KA was a u.s spec only motor, and wasnt available in japan, then how would a bluebird have them>

No, they were availible. I've seen pictures of a guy's BB from austrailia who built his KA to have over 600 hp to the front wheels via a T66
