gotta love the carbon fiber... is it real carbon, or a look alike kit. Can't tell from the pics.

loose the dash rug. The wheels look good, the engine is sweet.

what do you plan to do when you have to smog the car? im thinking of starting a project car but the whole california emissions crap is a big thorn in my plans.

also, you said in another post that it took a while for the swap to be completed, was it a shop that performed the swap? how much was labor?

well i have to be using it whter i like it or not. its weird though bc sometimes the light comes on for a while then when i hit u bump itll turn off and vice versa. id like to have it cancelled bc its not fun to to feel like being snapped in 2 while attempting a drift.

well i found someone through my bro whod smog my car, of course for a little extra. Being that sr-t powered cars arent street legal, looks like youd have to search for a place whod do it under the table.

yeah it took 2.5 mos to do my damn swap. yeah a shop performed the swap, well im not sure about labor but the swap in total cost $3,800 for me. the engine was like $1600 so i guess it was like $2200 for parts & labor.

as far as the carpet dash, ill use it bc i padi for it from the dealer and its custom made so it doesnt go to waste.yeah i really dont see anything wrong with my wheels, not sure why ppl tell me " dude just get new wheels bc anything else will look better than what your car has on" and other comments

ahhh SCREW YOU!!

yea, i got a friend that owns a smog testing shop.

he passed my dad's civic dx when it didnt have a cat(the cat was the built into manifold kind, and the manifold cracked, so we put in a cheap ebay header)

but aside from that, i live in a "advanced testing area" so i might be forced to go to a special smog test only place where they put the car on a dyno to simulate load.

i might be able to get around that simply by going to my guy once a year.

i guess it would be worth all the hassle though, i turboed my celica and the fuel pump died, car went lean and damaged a piston, a few weeks later, i melted the piston(got new walbro put in right after the stock one died)

i took all the stuff off, made the car 100% stock and i got a new shortblock from toyota for free under warranty!!!

how crazy would it be to swap back in a ka every other year?
