Starter - There should be a power cable connected from the starter directly to the battery. Also, on the starter there is a little metal tab. There is a plug on the lower engine harness that plugs into the tab.
Alternator - There is a light tan or brown plug on the lower harness that plugs directly into the alternator. Also, there should be 2 grounds on the lower harness that bolt onto the alternator.
Don't have any pics but its pretty self explanatory by looking at the harness.
