Are you trying to mount this SMIC on an S13 or S14? I have an S14 and it fit perfectly under my coolant reservoir and above my plastic wheel well liner. Just positioned it the way I wanted it, marked holes to be cut and used a hole saw. Then drilled a couple holes for the intercooler bolts to slide up through and torqued it in there. I have a couple pics on my computer at work so I'll hopefully remember to edit my post and add them tomorrow. The trick is to line it up with the stock IC piping too, so it isn't as easy as it sounds. Take your time and it'll turn out.

haha smarta$$ yeah that was when I installed the motor the first time. There's no way cobwebs could have survived since then. You saw all the spider webs between the floor and bottom of my car at the rear. Must have been developing for about 8 months (just in time for Halloween).

the best way to do it imho is to mount the charge pipes off the motor and then trace where on the fender well needs to be cut out, that way you dont have gaping holes in your engine bay.on a s13 a rb20 smic is a direct bolt on to preexisting holes on the body.
