I have a 2001 Pathy with stock rims and the tires need to be replaced soon. I am planning on getting new rims and tires and would like some ideas. Can you post pics of your ride with info on brand/size of rims and tires?

I am not going the big off-road or low profile looks but feel free to post your pics if yours fall under that. I am going with something sporty with non-chrome wheels. Something like this Lauren, I had to use your pic!

Looking forward to the pics.

jcpathy, those are really nice! I never thought just painting them will look so good. Too bad those are not the OEM rims that I have.

Yes and I LOVE mine... I actually have an extra set laying around if u'd be interested?

They're great for driving in the rain but also when it's hot outside, u can leave the windows cracked and it REALLY helps with the temp inside... and if it rains, no prob!

If qxx4 doesnt want em (dunno if they fit his years), Id be interested in picking that extra set youve got laying around if youre looking to get rid of it , Id buy it tonight if the price is right. email me @ [email protected] if youre actually interested. Set of 4 or just for the fronts?

I thought my 5% tint would help in the summer, still hot as fawk lol.

Ive also seen those 03-04 se wheels on ebay but they still sell for $500+ everytime Ive watched, Id rather get a lighter aftermarket wheel. But Im just a performance junkie

Any rubbing or fitment issues? I saw a 265/55 is reccomended, does the 255 fit the QX4 better?

Also, how does it ride? I want to maintain a decently smooth ride (my TL-S is tucking 19s on coilovers, so i want the DD to stay smooth lol)

No rubbing or fitment issues. And as for the 255 vs 265 yeah i'm not sure on that one. The ride was good, no drastic change, maybe a little road nosie but not bad. The handling was obviously much better though.

I know this has been covered many times, but I cant find any info when i need it.

Would the Chrome 15's from the older wd21 fit a R50?

those rims he has and painted himself are very similar to the color of the rims that come on an 02/04 pathy LE Platinum eddition. ive wanted those rims soo bad for a long time, but im deciding to lift mine and keep the factory 16 inch six spokes, just got new tires too so im kinda stuck with em.

not to thread jack, but i really like 99qx4's Enkei rt-6 rims.

how do you think they would look on my pathy except the 20x9 version of them, 18s too small for me since im set on getting 20's.

Those are my favorite Nissan SUV wheels. Look alot like the Konig NRN wheels I have in 17x8. Unfortunately they started to pit somewhat so they are sitting in the basement.
