Being a owner of 3 Nissans and one Infiniti I had to make sure my wife followed the trail, we purchased this Pathfinder on Ebay after doing a Carfax, having my best friend run all records thru his Nissan dealership, and having my insurance company check it out, we purchased it last January with about 57,000 on it , so far the truck has been great so I figured it was time to treat her right, I just did a complete flush and fill of all drive train lubricants with Amsoil Series 2000, engine has also been changed to full synthetic, new KYB gas a just in the rear, and Gr2s in the front, new belts, new plugs, new fuel filter, new tires on the way, radiator flush, and new power steering and brake fluid, I also had to swap out the 6 disc player because it would not release my cds, I then added a 2 1/2 pipe from the stock muffler followed by a Magnaflow tip, the next mod will be a FrankenCar intake and thats it this is the vehicle my wife and daughter drive so its gotta be tip top

Very nice.

May I suggest a anti-sway bar?http://www.seffects.com/parts/ADD02025. ... tr...=4984

I don't know about the Addco, but I just installed the Stillen one (it's actually made by Hellwig) and it's amazing. Almost no body roll in turns. The difference is night and day. I had to call Stillen to order it, they removed it from their website due to low demand.

I feel much safer and can take turns without worrying about lean/roll-over. Might be a great safety mod for your family (and a performance mod for you ).

Thanks, and I will take that suggestion about the bar, never even thought of it, I will market it to her as a safety item, she will never know

So you removed just the rear resonator? How does it sound, basically stock? Would you recommend it?

I have a performance muffler and thinking about switching back to Stock Muffler and doing exactly what you did. I'm getting too old for the rumble.

We had one like that as my wife's DD. A white 2002 Pathfinder SE 4WD with the sport rack on the roof. It was a great truck. An exhaust leak was it's only unscheduled maintenance issue, and was promptly repaired under warranty. We traded it with 54,000 miles last October for her 2005 Altima 3.5 SE. Best wishes to you and your Pathfinder, it looks great!

Thanks guys, she really loves it, the sound is a noticeble rumble at startup, then while driving it really isnt too much louder than stock, she hasnt complained yet, but a fellow Paty owner wanted to know why mine sounded different than his
