Alright, I finally got all my parts put on and the results and pics can be found at my cardomain page. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2561803

As far as I know the only parts that have actually hits stores are the springs. The others are still awaiting the final production run. Enjoy.

As of Thurs. AEM only had 4 units. The final production run hasn't completed. I lucked out and got the first one for free because they used my car for a week to redesign the original one that didn't fit, it pays to know people in the industry. The retailers should be getting the first shipments by the end of the month at the latest.

It could be that you don't feel the AEM CAI that much due to the CVT trans. I have not driven the CVT yet but I am guessing it switches gears at lower RPMS than somebody driving a 6 SD thus the acceleration is a bit lacking. Then again I could be wrong. Oh and to quote Weems84, you can actually buy the CAI from the site now? I am very curious .

Nice job bro, I like the strut brace and the way the wheel gap turned out is what I would expect from a 1.2"-1.5" drop, bet she handles a whole lot better now. The AEM should be good for another 5-8hp as well

Have you heard anything more about when the AEM CAI will be available for the versa? They show it on autoanything as being able to order it. I ordered one a while back but had to cancel it as it was not available. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also wondering if you know when that DC Sports strut tower brace will be available? Also how much? Your car looks great with those mods.

Shuster- That's what I figured it was. The CVT is really wierd when it comes to performance. I think that it can only do so much regardless of the power level. You guys with the 6 spd should probably see a noticeable gain. AEM used a 6 spd on the dyno but I don't know what the results were. I'll see if I can get the graph from my guy.

Nismo - Yeah the springs did exactly what I wanted them to but when I added the strut bar it actually exceeded my expectations. I've had modified cars in the past but none of them responded this well to individual modifications. Overall I'm pleased. I think a set of sway bars and definately some new wider tires on some lightweight rims would make this car handle perfectly. Anybody know of some companies besides Suspension Techniques or ADDCO that make sway bars.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that Goodridge is looking for a donor to make stainless steel braided brakelines. All they need is for someone to mail them the stock braklines and they will return them with a stainless set then they will start a production run of lines. You can get the contact information off their website. I would do it but I can't go without my car for nearly an entire week anymore with getting a rental.

Sickversa - As I said before the final production run of both the intake and strut bar should hit retailer shelves by the end of Feb. The strut bar I beleive is going to retail for about $150 I beleive. The Intake i think is going to be closer to $220. They are both quality pieces and they really complement the springs very well.

The springs are mildly difficult to install for the first timer but if your mechanically inclined it's not too bad, or if you feel like driving all the way to my house near temecula I could help you out for some pizza and beer, haha.

Yeah, I asked Eibach if they had any plans to make one. They said they were going to wait and see what kind of interest there was for Versa's before they made anything besides the springs. I didn't think about progress though, I'll have to check with them.

Well, I sent progress an email. Their catalog shows that they have springs and sway bars for the V but doesn't give any information on them. I'll have to wait and see what they say this week.
