"fast" si a reletive term, but I agree, quick enough to be fun, to be fast you need a solid 450 whp

Drive them back to back. The 350Z is much more of a car IMO.

+1

And you'll be glad you went with the base model......no stupid VDC. In the higher-end Z's, you can turn it off, but it just turns itself back on again when things start to slip. No fun.

You can always add brembos or whatever later, but the base brakes are actually very competent.

Enjoy it.....wish I had one.

I have had both, and I sold my G35 so I could buy my 350z.

True that. No mad tyte driftin happening with VDC. A guy with a Z (Touring trim I believe) around here was driving in the rain with it off. He started skidding and almost hit a guardrail but VDC kicked in.

On some new Mercedez Benz cars, they have a similar thing. You can turn it off but it won't come on unless you turn it on yourself. They showed how it worked on an episode of Speed Test Drive.

that is why the car has it. I have turned my off before and was slidding all over a parking lot and it never cut back on. Then again I do not turn the VDC off in the rain as well.

2005 G35 coupe six speed sports package (19in rays wheels)black on black, (base model the rest of the way)no sun roofno nav.no boseno wing

I had to order it just to get it that way.

The car just felt way to heavy in the turns, it always felt like it wanted to push out( under steer). The car was great, I just like the 350z better, to me it has a better feel. It cost more new then my G35, but cost a hell of alot less used then my G35.
