Here are some pics of the engine, picked it up yesterday, turbo pics will be up definitely this afternoon.

I am going to give her a good look over and checking before I put all together. Any thing specific I should look for or check besides compression, and anything I should replace? Does a place like advance auto parts have rentable compression checkers?

replace water pump, timing belt, rear main, front main seals, and optional but oil pump too. also, if you have the money invest in a FMIC, and a Koyo Radiator. check your clutch. im replacing mine not only cause im aiming for 500whp, but because it was shot... other than that, a good gasket rebuild is always good. dont worry about the head gasket, unless you have intentions to take it apart. cause once you pop that head off, youll notice that replacing things reallllly gets addictive, and one thing will lead to another, and youll be like me and start off with a simple engine build, drop in and go, and be rebuilding the whole damn motor.. Motor looks Clean. Good Luck.

I will still need ECU, harness, transmission, mount kit, decent intake mani (hate the stock), bigger injectors, and ALOT of hoses, most of the ones on here are cut : \

Any suggestions on a place to purchase the water pump, timing belt, rear main, front main seals, and hoses? Is there any kind of hose set you can get?

idk about hoses but nismoparts.com FTW. Shey is awesome.

thats where i got my N1 water pump, soon to get an N1 Oil Pump, and he sells a timing belt for 29 bucks... cant beat it. also gasket sets are 127 dollars..

oh and i got an RB25 ECU if you dont wanna go with an Aftermarket.

also on the Intake Manifold, dont fool around with cheap egay stuff. or Bings, or X02 racing. get greddy or nothing at all.. or get a custom one fabbed up. those are the only 2 routes i would go on the intake manifold... Are you going with the Stock exhaust manifold?

How much power are you going for? the RB25 turbo is only safe for a Max of (this is as far as i would push it) of 12psi. and depending on how many miles your motor has i would bring it down even more. what turbo options are you thinking about going with?

also. get your alternator checked and or rebuilt. it cant hurt anything and can be done in less than a day, and is fairly cheap. And while your at it, it cant hurt to replace the Other belts too.. RHD japan sells a Power enterprise kit which replaces alternator, powersteering, and AC belts.

Might have to go with a different exhaust mani, I already have a turbo for it, I just gotta figure out what kind it is : P waiting on the pics to come back, I am making payments on the engine to a local and I dont get the turbo till its payed in full. He is not sure exactly what it is, because it was polished.

It has HKS and Garrett stamped on it, with an AR of .70, he thinks its a GT37/38 says its good to 600hp. I will have to look up the part number on it once I get the pics back.

The motors pretty clean, still have to do some checks on it and what not, but was told its got 30-35k on it.

As for ECU, I need a stock one, but depleted all my current funds on the car and motor, mixed with xmas and moving in to a new house.

So I will need to start collecting monies first : ( How much you looking for it? I plan on getting Emanage Ultimate with the plug and play harness, heard good things about it. Seems simple and powerful.

ah idk... 200? throw me an offer.. i dont need it as im changing to stand alone.. but don't insult me.

and for exhaust manifold, your options are all pretty expensive... your best bet would be to try to find an HKS cast manifold, as you can find those fairly cheap.. cause if you get into a good quality tubular manifold, youll find your self well on up into the thousands.. I say this too often, but im still stoked on what i got, I got a uber rare Apexi Topmount for mine.

Nice, they have full gasket rebuild kit for 199. not bad at all. May as well change the HG and add some ARP studs : )

They have great prices over all, belts and pumps and all that. Thanks again for the link, that should have everything I need : D Minus the hoses it looks like : (

dude there too high....

Check out http://Nismoparts.com they have the N1 water pump for like 130, a regular water pump for like 80, and the N1 Oil Pump is only 197, as opposed to Phase2 who's OEM RB25 PUMP is $299.. there OEM Timing belt is only 19 bucks, and there full RB25 Gasket Rebuild set is 127. nismo parts has changed there web page, and i dont like it. but the stuff is still there... go to there site and call them up. ask for shey when you do...

they have all the replacement parts you need for the cheapest price..

4 lug and say "Concept Nine" on them. Cant find out anything on them online, and they are unknown lowering springs haha. I will be upgrading to custom made coil overs. My own brand ; ) I own a business called Termani Motorsports, but bever did anything with it, but since I am technically still a business, I can get them branded as my own for distributor price.

The stickers came with the car : P they will be leaving with the kouki conversion and paint when ever that happens : \ probably long down the road >_<
