Looks nice~ I been eyeing those 19's for a while but in silver. I'm curious... after installing those rims... does your altima seat higher off the ground or same as before??? I'm asking this bc I dont want to install lowering spring.

Wheels look good, but I think they might look a little better in black on your car. But eibach will defenetly help. Good job.

yes the coupe sits higher but with the eibach prokit it will sit perfectly. The lowering kit works with your stock suspension. I thought the silver rims would look to plain on the black coupe. Also these rims are forged rims so thats the main reason i purchase them light and durable. THe potholes here are terrible and I constantly bend and cracked my chrome rims on my last car.

will the wheels rub if there are passangers in the back?I remember someon saying that happened when they installed their 350Z wheels and their lowering kitthanx

i hope they don't rub that was one of my concerns. The 350z rims are 18" and these are 19" with 245/40/19. I hardly ever use the backseats though but i was curious if I put something in the trunk. I have to bring it to my buddys shop to see if he thinks I'll have clearance for the drop kit. I spoke with a the guy who has the g37 rims on his coupe with it dropped and he says he never has rubbing issues. The g37 rims are 19" so I was just thinking along those lines.

If your roads are bad, I would say good choice on getting the light and durable rims. But if you ever get sick of that gunmetal or after you scratch them up a bit(knock on wood) you can always have them powder coated black. I still think they look good, I just think they would look better black.

These are the wheels I think I'm eventually going to get end of this year (saving up the cash and hoping my bonus will be nice to get me a few more goodies for the car). I've been eyeing them for awhile now and think they'll look sweet on a Precision Grey. I like em on Black too... can't really go wrong with Gunmetal imo...

Nice Choice!

these forged wheels from nismo only come in gunmetal and silver. They make many replicas but none forged unless you want to spend $1000 a wheel. The silver wheels are a lot cheaper than the gunmetal ones because the gunmetal have higher demand.

oh, I wasn't saying getting them in black, I know they only come in silver or gunmetal. I was saying they look good on a black coupe too... I have a Precision Grey and and thinking these gunmetal nismo wheels look nice too. I'm assuming since these are the Nismo Maxima S-Type that they are not staggered because a Maxi is also a FWD car like the A/C, is that correct? I'd hate to have the issue with rotating my tires for a staggered setup...

your correct they are the maxima s-tune wheels and they are not staggered. I didn't want to deal with all the problems of a fwd car with staggered fitment. the offset is great for the car comes even with the wheel well. I HAVE OTHER PICS IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE ANYTHING SPECIFIC.

When you intending on getting these Mike?

I prolly won't be able to afford em till Christmas time. I found a website that sells em, looks like they cost around $1,500 for a set of 4 wheels.

I ordered the silver nismos wheels for my dark slate 3.5 a couple of months ago and just ordered the tires yesterday(19 in. tires are expensive). I was wondering what kind of tires did you get and how is the ride and road noise. Also, because they are lighter and have less unsprung weight than the stockers, do you notice an increase in acceleration and better handling. I ordered yokohama s. drives. I hope to have them in by friday and installed and of course I'll post pics. btw your coupe looks awesome, you dont see that combination often, and it looks great!

first off you can get the silver ones for $650 but the gunmetal are still regular price. Nissan is not making the silver stune wheels anymore foe the maxima but are still making the gunmetal. The cheapest i found was $1300 for the whole setup with shipping, rays black lugs, and rays tire valves and caps.

As for tires. I went with the new Evo X tires made by hankook the handeling on these are amazing and the sound is incredibly quiet. They cost me $1000 for all 4 tires. I am also looking into getting a big brake kit perhaps stillens once they release some specs and pics of installed on the car.

I really wanted something that looked different from what everyone else had. I had chrome on my last car and I got tired of it. i love the forged wheels and I definately notice a difference in handeling and the car feels quicker on acceleration but nothing to crazy. The rims i believe weigh 21 lbs or something like that. so far my gas mileage hasn;t been affected at all but its still early.....does anyone know if having the tire pressure light on makes the mpg meter stop working? I haven't seen a difference in mileage at all but it is still early. GOT A QUESTION FOR EVERYONE*********************************************************with the chrome rims I would take them off for the winter....should I take these rims off for the winter? I still have the stock rims with brand new tires???????????? Thanks

FYI:You can use the tpms from the original wheels in the new wheels so that your tpms light will not be on. I understand that the wheel that each monitor comes off has to go back onto the same wheel location it came from or you may have to get them reset. Or you can buy another set of tire pressure monitors. I will use the ones from the old wheels. BTW I paid $120ea.($480) from the dealership where i worked at the time.(they were on closeout from nissan) Sorry I cant answer the snow question (We dont get much snow on the gulf coast) I cant wait until my tires come in....

i kept the tire pressure sensors on the old tires because i figured i would switch back to them for the winter considering they still have new tires. No reason to waste the high performance tires on winter snow. The silver ones are on closeout but not the gunmetal. I tried so hard to get them for that price but they wouldn't. I wanted the gunmetal so bad that i shelled out over double for them because I thought they would really set off my black coupe. I can't wait to see what the silver ones look like on the coupe.
