The Corolla needed a chop because the new wheels/tires were rubbing BADLY... Fender flares will be put on this weekend, but until then, it's just going to rock some massive hella not-flush wheel gap.

An angle grinder. I first made a groove that I could follow with it, as it was rather hard to track the grinders direction with a ton of sparks and such in the way. After grooving the area, I just blasted right through it and it came off like butter.

My car came in 4th in SM (I've given up running in EP as the competition is not heavy enough or non-existent) at the Northeastern Divisional Championship this weekend. My finish will go unrecorded though as my vehicle was declared nonlegal after a protest was filed over something foolish and it left me rather frustrated.

Fast forward through quite a number of beers last night and I came to the conclusion that I'm going to (yet again) tear down this car and under-build it this time for F Street Prepared this winter. I'll have to find interior, which will be an odd request from folks and a hard task to find (luckily I have the rest of the year to do so)...

that and it's a big wheel on them to make a good curve.
