a wire tuck is what tuner cars do either to be a show car or appeals to there taste. ive done it cause i like the clean look of it. you take your fenders off an relocate wires there to cleans the engine bay i bet i had 10 pounds of brackets i got rid of by doing this an i didnt even do it hard. my boys with there cars got the power steering removed there ac compressors an abs componets removed. u look in there engines all u see is 5 wires which is 4 spark plug wires an 1 ground cable an nothing else... just enough to drive.
i got these struts from a company called redline tuning its suppose to be a full bolt on kit for xterra but i didnt wont it to be so i welded instead of using there rivets cause my hood weighs more cause of the fiberglass. So i wanted the extra security knowing that it wont go no were i also used these strut props that lock in place when the hood is up that locks into the strut that keeps it from moving anybody that has struts on the hood an show the car at show know all it takes is a good wind an there goes the hood slamming down not with theses they support 360lbs a piece. This fiberglass work alone was over 1500 bucks an ungodly amount of man hours an my time to boot so the hood slammimg down wasnt a option... I also got like the audi style lights in my lower grille looks pretty cool have to shoot some pics.
