Well I installed my new tires on the stock rims for the winter. After alot of debate I went with the Kumho Road Venture M/Ts 245/75/16. I wanted an aggresive tire since my summer wheels are an aggresive A/T tire. I love the thread pattern on these tires. For comparison the Nittos are 255/55/18 the are basically an identical tire as the stock 255/65/16. For anyone that is looking to see the height diffrence.

Here are pics of the baer decela rotors while I had the wheels off. The calipers are painted with G2 an epoxy type paint and I have Hawk HPS pads.

Johnathan-- I haven't noticed anything yet when going foward, maybe there may be some rubbing during a hard turn like a tight u-turn. I do notice some rub when in reverse and turning though.

Qxx4- It was just the tires I got no package. I got them from discounttiredirect.com for 650 to my door. Tirerack.com and my local tire shop wanted around 750. There is free shipping at DTD.com thats were I saved.

Nate-- Here ya go http://www.autoanything.com/br....aspx

thanks, 1 more question, i imagine it matters which rotar goes on which side and which direction the slots face correct? and is the rotar marked to tell this or is the info in the box somewhere?

those tires are going to be a handful on snow and ice...especially ice. Those large tread blocks might work well in loose dirt and sand, but are going to cause some skiddish moments on the white stuff.

235/75s might make a better winter tire...more ground pressure (in theory)

Nate- Yes they go in a specific direction. I don't remeber exactally, but I am pretty sure they were marked. If it helps that is a picture of the passender side.

K03- They had good reviews for snow, and pretty good for ice but I don't think it really matters what you have when it comes to ice. I choose these over a set of snow tires or something less aggressive hoping these would be ok. I guess I will see. Anything has to be better then the goodyear ls tires i had for last year, I think those were the worst tires I have ever had talk about skiddish in snow and ice.

Lemans-- I am suprised it took this long for someone to notice. I like it, its just a small little touch. I was trying to think of a way to cover it for the winter since I took off the 18's.

Nuts,Looks great! I am not a fan of Kuhmo but those tires look great. Curious to see how they will fare in snow & ice as well. I have a set of 31x12.50x15 Pro Comp Xterrains which look similar on 15x10 rims I now run in the winter. Had bought them for off roading which they are great, but now that I lifted my Explorer more they are a little short ( running 33x12.50 BFG T/A's in summer ). Hands down the BFG's are superior in winter but I do not want to pit my Centerlines (old school). Back on topic-I have to agree about losing that DUB badge. And can you tell us more and price on those rotors?? Your truck is looking good!!!
