thanks for the replys guys!!! i plan on doing some modest things in the future, full coilovers, deep dish 18" bbs wheels, c/f hood and brake upgrade as of now. any more ideas are welcome.

i have an idea on the carbon fiber hood. i wouldn't get it unless you just want it for looks. the stock hood is lighter than a carbon fiber hood. and we don't want any more weight on a 300zx than she already has. one question, where did you buy it?

i got it from an older guy in morton, IL. anyway, ive never seen one with that wing on it, is that stock or what?

ive been down in NC this past week, any of you Z owners down there? i saw a really nice red z32 with a stillen body kit and some nice others. just wondering.

that is the 1999 jdm spoiler. it was one 1999 300zx's over in Japan. it is personally my favorite spoiler on the 300zx. be glad you have one because they sell for $800 not painted.

wow thats pretty cool. i was thinkin it was a Nismo or something because ive never seen it on any other one, and it is by far my favorite.i did notice the hood was already fairly light, but ive seen a c/f hood that had a single vent in it and it really looked great. also what are all of your thoughts on wheels? im thinking 18" by whatever, probably BBS, but they are REALLY expensive and am thinking maybe something else would look just as good. id like chrome, as long as it was very sporty and tasteful, but i havent given it much thought. anyway, thanks again.

those SSRs are amazing, ive always liked those, my buddy has them on his MR2 turbo. im still doin my research, but as of right now, im leanin toward the BBS RX's. they seem to be fairly lightweight and arent too expensive. i ordered brembo gold plated crossdrilled rotors, titanium pads, and stainless braided lines tonight too.
