I've been working on my car now on and off for over a year. It's just about finished, just need to get the new top and new carpet installed. Going to take it to a friends body shop and have it buffed and polished after the top goes on...then I'm done. Well...I've got Eibach Sportline Springs coming then I'm gonna order some good shocks and struts. Maybe get a Energy Suspenion bushing kit...then I'm done...for a while anyway. Well...here are some pics:

This one and the next were done with my phone so:

These are pics just after we dropped in the newly rebuilt KA24DE

Hope to get pics of my s14 seats that I just installed and of the new top and carpet soon as they get done.

Gorgeous - THAT'S the way to do it.

With that level of attention to detail, there's no way you can go wrong.

Ahh.. LOL at me. I wasn't paying attention to what I was looking at.

I'm so used to seeing a red top and it being an SR.. I was just admiring how clean and nice it all looked.. without actually paying attention to what engine it really was...

oy.. I need to lay off the wacky weed or something!

I've been saying that every day now for a couple months. We've yet to see the plus side of freezing since early Jan. The first week of Feb...we had high temps below zero.. Yeah.. global warming eh??? I think not!

Anyhow... back to WM's hot car! Sorry to jack your thread!

Thanks for all the compliments. I ordered my carpet from: http://www.stockinteriors.com/ . You can order swatches so you can compare to your seats or other interior details. I ordered my top from the guy on eBay. Hopefully it will be able to get installed in the next week or two...the guy is backed up atm. Soon as I get home I'll post a few more pics I took. I did just order some Eibach Sportline Springs...now just need to order shocks and struts and the stance will be improved ten fold. I also have Borla exhaust coming.

Are those LED bulbs for position lights? They are bright and bluish. Where did you get the powder coating done for the valve cover? Looks like same color as mine.

for you guys looking for carpet: i ordered molded carpet for my dsm from 1aauto.com they had great prices and a great selection. they sent me free swatches to check colors and what not. i ended up getting the molded carpet and enough extra to do the rest of the non-molded parts for just over $200.

http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Carpe...25822

that's a link for s13. i'm not associated with them at all and recieve nothing for recomending them. just trying to give other enthusiast an option.

Yes they are LED's in the clear sides of my turn signals. I got the powder coating done by a guy out of NJ, very fast turn around...and very nice looking work. Here is the website: http://www.trgcoating.com/index.php . Oh yeah...I just checked stockinteriors.com on the price of molded carpet and it's on sale now for $179. I'm going to order car mats from them cause the 180sx mats don't quite match or fit...their front pair is only $39.

Haha!! That's Tom. He's my powder coating guy too. I bet we have same color valve covers. It's called 'Candy Red.' Other red colors were too bright and I wanted my valve cover to stand out, but not too much, so I ended up picking Candy Red. If you look at their color chart, there's not much to pick for a valve cover.

http://www.trgcoating.com/color_chart.php

He also powder coated my z32 calipers. He knows what he's doing with a great price. I bet you love how he shaved the letters on the cover.

LOL...yeah...it's Candy Red. Tom does very nice work. I'm going to have my calipers done by him too when I upgrade my brakes.
