Well, after several months of shopping and saving every last penny I could spare, the time is finally here. Here are some pics of a few of the toys I will be installing starting this week. I still have to pick up the Black Top SR and my Apex N1 Duals from JGY Customs in a couple of weeks.

Yeah I know the Gr2's suck. I got a really good deal on the 2 as a pair. BAsically got the shocks free when i bought the springs. Just a hold over until I get everything together. I have my eyes on either some JIC's or A set of Tein's. I hope they do not blow out for a few months. I'll be sure to post some pics of the progess. I only have access to the garge one night a week for 3 hours at a time. Kinda sucks, but I have access to multiple lifts, air tools, welding equipment, and the list goes on. So I am hoping it won't take as long as I am expecting.

IveBeenBad - Ill be sure to give you a shout when I'm done.

The box on the table is from the Greddy/Trust Downpipe. The strut tower braces are off ebay. Sh*t for what I paid for them I don't care if they are generic or not. My computer decided not to start yesterday, so I will not be able to post pics until this weekend. But I will be sure to post pics of the engine removal process.

You should be able to do most of those installs without a lift or welder

I got them too, they seem to be good quality, and you cant beat $43 shipped for both. I didnt know they were Megan Racing?

Big Perm, how's JGY customs, I have a good $5000 in parts Im getting ready to get and Im looking for a place to get it all. I've heard all good about JGY, how's your experience been with them?

Yeah I know a lift and welder are not a necessity. A lift always makes everything a lot easier. I am 6'6" so crawing under the car over and over again is not the most comfortable thing for me to do. I will probably not need to use the welder unless I either get bored (which I doubt) or if I f#*k something up.

As for JGY Customs, they have been awesome to work with. If you need to talk with someone ask for Shaun. They also specialize in FWD Applications but Shaun is a 240 guy. I bought most of the parts from them including the Black Top, which was in very good condition. He can get pretty much whatever you want and they have quite a good inventory of parts. $5000 was also my inital budget for the engine and necessary parts. My list so far iincludes these parts

Black Top SR20DETGreddy VSPL FMICACT ClutchFidanza FlywheelFlex-A-Lite dual fansKoyo radiatorApex N1 DualsGreddy DownpipeK&N FilterEnjuku HP with Greddy Type SHKS Adjustable Wastgate actuatorS14 SeatsCustom 2-seater - removed backseats and created a "wall" will show pics later

Pretty much it for know, trying to weigh the options of the 5 lug or just getting some FN01R-c's

Silvia Conversion and bodywork to be done once the engine is in and running well.

We'll see how the swap progresses. Everyone says it is not really that bad. CAn't wait to find out for myself

The black coupe is Shaun's. The whole exhaust dilemma was a long process. I have had Greddy exhausts on all of my other cars and have always liked them. I was looking for a different look other that a single big can hanging down. Seems like everyone around Roanoke has that look. So I decided on the N1 Duals, I hope they are not too loud.

I will be working on the car again on Monday. I hope to get the KA out that night and I plan on picking up the engine 1 week from today. So for it is going really well. Hope to have it running soon!!
