The car is practically still au naturel, but here they are, nonetheless.

Try your best to ignore the fat guy in the picture. He thinks he's special because it's been 17 years since he bought a new car, LOL

Here are a couple of photos of my new LEDs (6000K superwhite):

Welcome.

Take off that Team Direct license plate frame and sticker off your trunk.

And wow. Your neighbors house next door, and your neighbor's house across the street are identical to yours. Eerie.

Yeah, I do need to get a nicer licence plate frame.

And the houses in my neighbourhood are all built by the same group of builders for the developer, and while they are essentially identical in many ways, there are subtle differences not noticeable until you begin to look for them.

Welcome to suburbia

Next mod I'm planning is the window tinting: 35% side and rear windows.

Welcome to the Altima Coupe family! Your car looks just like mine before I put my 18"s on. It looks great, what are your future plans with it?

Hey, Coop,Thanks for asking, but yours looks white, and mine is silver Just relaxing here tonight with my dark chocolate and my Rumplemintz Peppermint Schnapps

The next thing I plan to do is get the windows tinted (playing by the rules here, which here in GA is 35% sides) going the same for the rear window just for rear visibility (am an old man here, LOL). DONE (see images below)

What I already have:● leather steering wheel cover (Wheelskins)● interior LEDs (6000K super-white) and licence plate LEDs to match● window tinting (sides & rear: 35%)

Here is a list of other things I would like to have done, later, as the budget permits (but in no particular order):● wheel rims with new tires (not sure about silver vs chrome finish, with a radiant silver body … anybody have any ideas?) … most likely going to go with 18s● removing the vendor badges (as suggested earlier)● more interior LEDs! Thinking about going with a Caribbean blue or turquoise for the footwells, rear floorboards, and cupholders so I can play up the whole ocean theme (already have a Protect Wild Dolphins tag, so I figured, what the hell, in for a penny… ) ● would REALLY like to get some projector headlights and LED taillights, but these are both really big budget items● Stillen rear deck spoiler and rear wing (not sure yet whether I want front or side bits)● custom leather interior (two-tone Katzkins in charcoal or black and a matching Caribbean blue or turquoise, probably)● painting or powder-coating the brake calipers the same Caribbean blue or turquoise, to match everything else of that colour● Eibach Pro-Kit (added thu 17 sep 09)

Haven't yet thought about performance mods just yet. I'm guessing that I will want to get the speedometre/odometre recalibrated if I get wheels that result in larger-profile tires.

Lol no problem man, mine is actually Radiant Silver too, it just looks white in the pic from sunlight. It sounds like you got it all planned out, I already bought wheels and tires but I still haven't gotten around to getting a tint , my state Maryland is 35% as well so that's what I'm going to go with. There's so many mods I want to do but I have no money right now. lol

Hey there, Coop,I thought I would follow up this thread with some new pics showing the window tint. Nothing extraordinary, just 35% sides and rear:

Oh, and as an aside, I don't leave my car parked obliquely across multiple parking spaces as shown in my pic. I just thought that the image looked too boring parked in the space straight.

(At least I was quick enough with the camera to avoid capturing any pics with that fat guy who keeps showing up in the others LOL)

Thanks for the warm welcome, Blackteam02,

I got them from V-LEDs; the ones in the picture are the high-powered surface-mounted (4 LED elements per "bulb", unidirectional). These kept failing in the licence plate sockets, so I replaced them both with regular surface-mounted LEDs (5 elements per "bulb", multidirectional).

The resulting effect is that the replacement LEDs aren't quite as bright, but bright enough to make the licence plate visible at night.

I also need to add a pic of the trunk LED, as well. I want to replace the stock incandescent bulb in the glove compartment, but I can't figure out how to remove it. Anybody got any ideas?

Thx, momba

Actually, people who don't live there have a harder time picking out my house. After having lived there for nearly 6 years, it's hard for me to miss (being familiar with the "lay of the land" makes it easy to discern from the other cookie-cutter houses there). And for the record, while I do drink, I don't drive drunk (neither should anyone else).

And I'm still enthralled with my A/C that I keep it clean inside and out (and that's kind of hard to do here in Georgia during the summer. I just know that I hit every single bug between A and B when I go anywhere)
