Whats up everyone? Havent posted in here in a looooong time. Anyway, finally getting my car back together after nearly 2 (yes 2) Years. Just picked up my redtop head. A list of things done.... New Valves, valve stem seals,valve guides(JWT), valve springs(Greddy), (thanks Enjuku), Competition Valve job<-- nuthin crazy.

looks nice but Id take those greddy valve springs out and throw them in the trash.

Those are not much stiffer than stock springs and will break eventually causing your pretty valves to smash into your piston and make a big and expensive mess.

Thanks for your feedback but they are not going in the trash. I highly doubt these springs will give me problems under normal use. I'm not trying to build a high HP monster that I will be reving the crap out of. Just trying to have a good running car. Maybe some good stuff later but even then I think what I have will be plenty and my pretty valves will be ok. Again, thanks for the opinions/suggestions, keep em comin. Oh, and nice thread on the head build ILikeMy240sx.

A pretty penny. You can see the price of the other stuff on Enjukus' site. But labor (including everthing done to the block) was about a grand.
