been on here for a while and i have never posted any pics of my setup...so..

setup is like this:RB25DE block and headgts-t transgerrett gt35r with t4 flange, 1.04 hotside ar, to4r compressor cover, q trim wheel, venturi bolt thingytial wastegate3.5 flared to 4 inch downpipe4 inch apex GTspec exhaustEprom tuning software made by one of my freindstop mount mani from thiland-not ssac they dont make a t4 maniintake manifold also from thiland600cc injectorscozmo fuel pumpgtr fuel railq45 900 throttle bodyspearco front mount intercoolertial 50mm blow off valveHKS headgasketgreddy timing belt coverOS giekin lightweight flywheelOS giekin tripple plate clutchand some other stuff that doesnt really matter

The DE wasnt used to be cheaper, it was suprisingly more expensive after all was said and done. the DE block has a better deck design than the DET, the rods are stronger, the pistons still suck, and i cam easily make an RB30 if i choose to blow this motor anytime soon

yeah the engine bay is pretty nast right now, for a little while there the fire wall, was doing its job of keeping fire out of the cabin, since the wastegate was shooting straight at it

the wiring is better now also, i am running a GM blow through MAF also to get rid of the pre turbo maf sensor, and all the injector wiring has been run underneeth the intake manifold, the wiring harness has also been tucked

^good to hear.

ran my wastegate like that too. sounds awesome right there. like hell opening up.

of course there is also a nice spot on my firewall that says differently.

How hard was it to wire up the GM blow through, I kinda want to get rid of sticking something in front of the turbo.

high 400si dynoed with a different turbo that was a little smaller hitting consistant 420-425 on a mustang dynoso it depends on what dyno you go to. dynojet would be low 500s i would assume, mustang dyno reads lower tho

the MAF was pretty easy to wire up. i have a diagram on my comp if you want to do it

makes sense why the engine looks like a rb20 now, the rb25de looks exactly like the rb20det........also explains the lack of vtc.looks good man and the potential to convert to rb30 is def a plus.

Ran a 12.9 on 18inch street tires, 16psi, a broken trans mount, a much smaller gt30. never dynoed it with the smaller turbo, so i have no idia what i will run now

Its okay man, at least you admit it... oh, and no body's perfect, RB's will warm up to you and you'll see the light.

Good looking motor man, Looking forward to some #'s!

Whats up with your valve cover, did you just weld on bits of plate to make it look like a 25DET valve cover?

the valve cover has a welded on catch can in it. thats why it also has the AN fittings.

I got the manifold from a shop out of thailand

I wonder how big is it between gt30, gt32 and t3/t04e. which one would you recommend. I saw a gt32 under $700 that I probably will buy for my r33. any suggestion?. The gt32 has t3 divided flange, I wonder will this flange bolt to stock r33 manifold?....thank you...

I dont know, i personally would never run a t3 flange on an RB25 but thats just me. i am coming from a 400whp integra, so i am used to nothing but top end power. any t3 flange should bolt up to the stock manifold, the question is weather or not it will hit the block. I made an adapter plate to run a t4 flanged turbo and it hit the block so i had to use a 4 inch extention to use the stock mani. i eventualy upgraded

I would say use the dual ball bearing turbo, that way you get alot of power and good response

i forgot about this thread, here are a few more updated pics of my setup

that looks exactly like the ssac manifold i have, the welds look exactly the same, the shape of the brace on top, i think its a ssac mani. which would confirm that they do work

nope, i had the ssac, but it looked too flimsy, so i bought the phase 2. its about 3X heavier, and quite a bit thicker as well. still have the ssac in my garage tho

Nice set up, the pics look very clean. Lets see what type of #'s that GT35R puts down on a 2.5. I know of a few local Evos that have put down 600AWHP on that turbo. Let us know what it makes...and GOOD LUCK !
