Wes' post is accurate. I'm currently running the same Track wheels as he with stock suspension, have replacement parts, but will wait for spring ... no need to expose them to the harsh winter elements.

And yes, I know I'm running an under rated tire up front. This will be resolved shortly, and until then I am running at 40psi. (keep in mind all load ratings are at the max tire pressure). There are a few 225's & 235's that meet/exceed the load rating, and I would feel comfortable with 235's with the new suspension parts and my driving style ... and maybe a slight rolling of the inner edge.

Heath,I am looking for a set of wheels for my car. Did you try to post/sell them in the G35 forum? I am sure someone have scratch/damage rim that can use a nice replacement or have a full size spare.

Which one would you guys choose? Locally, a guy is selling set of wheels for track model(less than 200 miles) for $495. They are mint condition. Or the base model wheels, same condition for $400. The difference is only $95? What do you guys think? I am just concerning about the difference in front and rear sizes in terms of tire rotations.

Hehehee! Last week, this guy was selling them for $900 and no taker. Today, he had it on the ad for $495(firm). I shot him an email wanting to buy at $400. I know $495 is a very good deal but my financal situation is pretty tight right now. I had to do a lot of talking just to convince my fiancee to allow me to buy the base wheels for $400. If I tell her it's going to cost another $95, she is going to kill me.

Wow, that's almost as good as my deal , that included tires.

The 18" Forged Rays Track wheels are def worth $495 for a set. Just keep in mind how much you'll have to add to that for tires. Keeping a good eye on ebay can turn upu some real deals, especially if you can find someone with low/no feedback that's close enough for you to do pick up .

I wouldn't worry about the difference in front and rear tire diameters. There's no real impact to your daily driving.

=====================

If you pass on them, you may want to share the seller's contact info with some folks on NICO.

All fenders? Seems like that skinny bicycle tire up front should be a problem, but at 30mm, maybe so. There is not much lip to roll on the front fender.

Surely you mean wheel rim width, not diameter? Rotation would be not good.

Just the front, I've had no problem with the rear at all. And I've heard the rub with the window when down going through a deep dip in my neighborhood, but upon investigation, I can't see any marking on the tire.

I was really surprised to see Nissan put a 225 on an 8" wide wheel, they should have saved on the wheel by making it narrower, or spent on the tire, slightly wider.

Here's a couple front tire options:Avon Tech M500 in 245/40WR18 97 load ratingBFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 in 235/40YR18 95 load ratingContinental ContiSportContact 2 in 235/45WR18 98 load ratingContinental ContiSportContact 2 in 235/40YR18 95 load ratingContinental ContiSportContact 2 in 245/40YR18 97 load ratingDunlop SP Sport 01 in 235/40YR18 95 load ratingDunlop SP Sport Maxx in 235/40YR18 95 load ratingMichelin Pilot Sport PS2 in 235/40YR18 95 load ratingMichelin Pilot Sport PS2 in 245/40YR18 97 load ratingPirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico in 235/40YR18 95 load ratingPirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico in 245/40YR18 97 load ratingPirelli PZero System Asimmetrico in 245/40ZR18 97 load ratingYokohama AVS ES100 in 235/40WR18 95 load rating

Nittos 555 (I think) in 225/45/18 95 load rating

And a couple Kumho's in various styles/sizes with =>95 load rating

Ahh, you mean "rotating the tires" not "rotations as it goes down the road" ... once you go staggered size/widths you've given up on full rotattiona dn should have a shop do "off the rim" swapping from side to side to move the inner shoulder to the outter shoulder. Does that make sense?

Sorry for the long off response guys... I do believe that they are either 30/33 or 30/30 offset... They do say front/rear on backside of the wheels...

No rubbing... I'm running 225/45/18F and 245/40/18R but I also haven't put on my springs yet either...

As for selling the wheels... I haven't really tried yet because I've been considering picking up a good 4th and putting them on my wife's 1996 I30t...

BTW I paid $455 for these off eBay... $200 for shipping, so even with shipping still a killer deal...

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.. So far I really like them...

I picked up those wheels. Here is the link to those tires. I have a question though. How come these wheels do not look like Wes. I am pretty sure they are for the Z.

The wheels on the car, are like Wes', the other 3 pics are not the same and the Track wheels are 18's, the add seems to be for 17's???

Still a real good deal, with like new tires.

You just got the standard 17s (from the touring), which are also great... lightweight and strong...

I've also got a '94 Q and have been wanting to get the 18" G35 rims. They look great! Is the Q in the photo with the 18" G35 rims lowered at all? The stance looks great and want to know if that's what mine will look like with a wheel change. Mine is entirely stock.

Thanks

That is stock height for now... But it will be getting the California Custom springs on it when I finally get off my butt and put them on...
