Going to use either c16 or VP 120 100%

How exactly do you sump a plastic fuel tank?

If we have any fuel delivery problems then we will just throw in a fuel cell.

Info on me and my setup can be found at http://www.ka-t.org/rick

Well, I have a feeling we will max out this GT35R around 650hp, so if that happens we will probably switch to something a bit larger, but not as large as the T72 I was running before this.

Plastic welder, or using epoxy's to bond baffles.

With the pick-up being at the bottom I'd pull that tank and clean it out before you suck up god knows what into the pump.

you'll need two more for 3-wheel motion j/k

what size lines are you using for the feed/return?

kinda OT, but does the stock fuel system use any banjo bolts? at the pump maybe?

http://www.ka-t.org/manifoldstuff/DSCF0079.JPG is a pic off the car.

I am using -12 from the tank to pump, -10 from the pump to the rail and to to regular, then -8 on the return line into the tank.

Glad you guys like it

I am not sure, all (as far as I know) S14's (95+) have the stupid plastic tanks. I am not sure about the s13's though. If this doesnt work, it just gives me an excuse for a fuel cell.

how was the intake manifold designed? i noticed you used the upper part from the original manifold... did you calculate the runners length to be more effective at a certain rpm? is there info about the intake manifolds design? looks very nice.

there's a way to calculate the runners length using the way the air bounces between the intake manifold and the valves to make the air bounce just right so that it will be moving ointo the valve as the valve opens, giving more power... the problem is that it is only useful at certain rpms because as engine speed increases the bouncing speed remains the same and so it doesn't bounce in at the perfect time, unless you have a varying length intake runner.... that would be awesome.

anyhow so you can effectively calculate and use the length of the runners to make the engine stronger at certain points (such as around the big torque area, or horsepower areas.

No I dont believe we did all that. This is basically just a piece to hold me over with until some better comes along.

pulse tuning is a big pain in the butt, not many people are willing /or have time to build and change15 different intake manifolds to see which one works best.

Very much so. We have the ability and the technology disposable at hand to map all of the flow rates through a cad program. However, that would be better for a vehicle that was built to run in a certain rpm range for extended times....something like a professional race team doing road courses or something.

That is the only KA intake manifold ive seen worth spending a penny on. Finnaly someone sees the high port intake design on the head and doesnt send air in perpendicular to the head. I wish i had the means/skill to hand produce something like that. Great looking setup and keep up the good work.~Sam

P.S. what kind of coil is that that you are using?

It is an MSD HVC Coil.

Oh, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice that **** on the swaybar. It just general soot and gunk on the underbody of the car. I had some trouble awhile back with my oil line fitting at the block leaking and landing on the back of the car.

yeah i know it's not typically something that's really important for a car that's not a dedicated race car... but just wanted to know. there's a way to calculate it out by hand (theoretically, but you can get pretty close and even if it's not dead on correct it will still provide gains at a range that's just a little off of what the target was) rather than having to test the setups individually. it's not like nissan had this in mind with their original design anyway so it makes no difference, but it's just something else to do i guess. thanks.
