I would first like to say hello to everyone, I'm pretty new here and have found alot of great information. its great to see so many other people appreciate these awesome cars! I bought my 240 almost a month ago, but didn't have a digital camera then to post pics so here they are :) It's my second 240, my first on was a 93 coupe ( I'll always like coupes more! ) but had to sell it cuz I needed money to move back to Chicago (someone in Orlando is hopefully taking care of her, she's the same color as this one). I had a 91 Integra after that for 2 years and never really liked it, I needed to get a 240 again!. I paid 1800 for this one, its got 147k and a little rust, but its in overall great condition, runs great and the interior rocks! Hopefully I can fight off the rust and keep it for a really long time, just swapping out the motor when this one dies. Tell me what you guys think...

the stock muffler was falling off so I just got one of those cheap ones off ebay ( I know, I know they suck, but it really doesnt sound bad, its got a pretty deep tone) eventually I'll get full exhaust put on when I get more money

My rusted piece of crap spoiler :( About how much do you guys think it would cost to take the spoiler off, fix the holes and paint it professionally?

Thanx John :) I like it too, don't see too many w/ that color. My last 240 was the exact same color so I was so happy when I found this one!

Nice car! I wish I had your clean paint job and interior on my 92 coupe. Then I'd be even happier with my car than I am now. Congrats on getting back into the land of RWD. Sorry to hear about the detour through Integra land.

Thans Phax! my Integra was actually mechanically the WORST car I've owned, and I've owned 5 so far (all japenese). You would think an acura wouldn't need anything, but I poured like 2 grand worth just for repairs into it. I'll never buy another honda

Oh I'm gonna baby the hell out of her! As far as mods, just intake for right now(low on funds). The 3rd gear syncros are kinda going, so I changed the fluid w/ redline, and it doesnt grind under normal driving conditions anymore. I also put new plugs and wires. I'm gonna keep her interior/exterior locking stock. Hopefully in the next couple of years when this engine goes, I'll have saved up for an SR. My only worry about the car is the rust, I'm gonna have to drive it through the winter and it has a little more than shown in the pictures but its mostly surface rust, in the front wheel wells, and a little in the engine bay.

Nice 240 Man...Congrats...The rust problem under the wing must be a common thing...Becareful not to let it go to long without fixing it...It will eventually rust straight through the trunk and you'll get water in there...That's what happened to mine...So until I get money to send her to the shop, I removed the wing myself and covered the rust holes up with some aluminum tape that is sold in auto part stores...~240 4 Life~

I think we have the same cheap-*** muffler...and I agree, it actually doesn't sound too bad compared to some of the annoying fartpipes I've borne witness to. You have a good color too...I always liked the gray, could never find any here in NJ. Aztec Red seems to be the most common paint color.

You can beat the rust problem easy (see your other thread). Like they said, watch out for water in the trunk - it can come in through either the spoiler holes OR the taillamp seals, both tend to deteriorate over time.

meantime, I like your sig. thanx for the info in my other thread. How long have you had your muffler? I'm wondering how long they last before all the shi't inside starts to deteriorate and it gets REALLY loud. I had a DTM style muffler on my last 240 for about 2 years and it held up really nice, but it was of much better quality and I also paid more than twice what I paid for this crappy ebay one
