The Team Dynamics plan didn't work out, they didn't have the Pro Race 2's in 16x7 that i wanted (the plant in UK didn't make them supposedly, even though i ordered them in Feb) so i found these bad boys on PasswordJDM.com for a excellent price.

Sizes are 16x7 +32 front, 16x8 +38 rear

Tidbits about PasswordJDM, they pack their wheels TERRIBLY, i mean, i opened the box (which btw, the staples were just about to give when i got the boxes) and there was one thin piece of square cardboard separating the two wheels, it was unnerving. No peanuts, or foam, etc. Ugh. Plus their ad said 16x7 +32 which led me to believe they were all that size. Nope. Well, otherwise, they look pretty good.

What do you guys think of me painting them bronze? I'm too poor for powdercoating, but I do a hella of a job masking/painting since that's what i have to do to my car's quarterpanel about once a year to keep the rust away.

Too nice to paint huh? I was thinking that myself. Although silver is uber boring to me so i'll have to wait for a powdercoating opportunity.

if they were some old mesh w/ a polished lip id say yeah paint em, but those would be hard to make look good, just stick with them and if you see a good deal on powdercoating go for it

MAKE DAMN SURE that your tire guy knows what he's doing or else the jamb nut assy that juts out from the backside of the valve stem will tear your tire's bead during installation and you could get screwed!Of course it's possible to cover up this problem because the bead may not fully tear down to the bead wire wrap, but over time a torn section of the chord will fatigue and cause failure. Know your tire guy!

well.. i was expecting +32 all around, but the +38 in the rear won't be that much of an issue. I'm not trying to show off to no drift crew, just need something light, cheap and in something other than +40.

The guys at NTB know me well, and i'm a stickler for detail, but my bf just recently landed a job at a nissan dealership, so if he can get it clear to the guys it should be ok. Otherwise i'll go to NTB, because at least i can watch the guy do it.

it's not going to be flush by any means, but it'll look good as long as you don't run a lot of camber.

my 240 had similar size wheels when i bought it (16x7 +30 and 16x8 +38 gram lights) and it looked pretty good. i don't like stagger so i sold them to korey (goofyca/atx whatever his sn is) and i just got 4 16x8 +10s rotas, it's gonna be sweet.

The +20 rotas look pretty good with stock camber and 225/50s...really flush in front and pretty close in back. I'm no drifter though so I'm sure they're actually sunken boats to most people

nothing wrong with those offsets. i'm running 16x7.5" 32 offset front and 16x8.5 37 offset rear, and its pretty dang near flush.

I say good choice and get some tyres on quick

I've noticed people's definition of 'flush' varies. Some who say +20 is flush, i find it to stick out too much for my tastes. Anything is an improvement over stock alloys.

BTW, where the hell are you guys finding Rota's with that kind of offset? Is it the GAB copy that comes in that offset? I may be interested, since i feel i may need an extra set of 16's.

when i say flush i mean drifter flush, ie it's spacer time!

the rotas came from josh at http://www.autornd.com . they're actually truck wheels he had drilled for 4x114.3. i don't know if he has anymore, he's selling them for $700 now

edit: oh yeah, he said they don't clear Z brakes

Sorry the TD wheels didnt work out. But your new wheels look good. I think they would look great in bronze if you decide to paint them...

Sultan: ROFL, my bad there's the whole drifter 'flushness' thing.. so those rims won't clear z-brakes? Did he test-fit to find that out? Because the spokes look like they can....

depends on the backspacing more than the offset if anything is going to clear zbrakes.

I test-fitted my rims today, the +32 7" ones clear the Z brakes with the greatest of ease, about 1" breathing room for the 26mm calipers. The rim's edge is 1" away from my agx. I test-fitted the +38 8" rims on the back and there's 1" space from the rim's edge as well. Will this be an issue with 225/50's all around?

im gonna say they should fit. my wheels are only .5" wider and the 225's up front stick out past the rim maybe 1/8" or less. the rears you should not have any problems with

Thanks for giving me some feedback bronzeMFP, i'll post up pics later one once i get tires. Of course, before i buy tires i am going to have the wheel's balanced to see if they're straight, if not i'll probably just sell them.
