Well I got my RB25DET in!! Bought it directly from japan. for 2400 shipped to the state Port and Dock Terminal in Detroit. Got it in about 4-5 weeks and i had to clear customs myself. It was trained all the way from LA after it was boated it from Japan.

smashed...

Heres an even worse shot.

You are now saying I am a crazy a$$. I got it for 500 bux... yeah some of you get better deals but hey whatever its called a prject car for a reason. I'd like to know what the guy hit.... There are alot of other scrapes and dings in the car but its gonna be a perfect body after I'm done with it.

Ugly *** Tail lights when I bought the car from Columbus Ohio...

Blocking the body out..

I was scared to take that conversion off but hey I felt like doin some monster garage and said F it. Now the stockers are back in it looking beautiful... turned out pretty nice.

I got the engine bay painted, should be dropping my motor in tomarrow. All I have to wait on is mounts from Eric at E-Emotorsports. Awesome guys to work with over there... hard to get ahold of cuz they're damn busy.

Posting more pix soon.

OK, I officially hate you now... You need to get your contact to set up a group buy on engines in similar conditions and stop hogging the deals!

So there's a little salt oxidized on the valve cover... that doesn't mean the engine is not clean, and it certainly doesn't mean that the clock has been turned back. That engine looks pretty damn clean to me!

I was weary at first but then I saw the whole car in a picture before I even had money to get the clip.... talk about *** pack. The trunk was sitting in the back seat. 7000Km doesn't mean a grandma 7000km especially when its made some love to a wall. Whoever had the skyline this motor came out probably had to beat the living hell out of the car.

The oxidation isn't anything at all it wiped right off with my fingers. I'd rather have a lil oxidation and a trustworthy and honest seller than a clean *** motor that has something screwed with it, has 300,000miles on it and a theif thats just trying to make a quick buck.

I'll keep alot of updates on the car and the motor hopefully if I hook up with this other guy who has some work for me I can swap on a GT30R or maybe even a GT42R, bigger injectors... etc.

Its was in a clip before he sent it, it was way cheaper to just strip the clip out and give me everything i needed. No use for the body. shipping was 650 and if I were to ship the whole clip it would have been 1100-1200 for a clip I didn't need. I got everything in it including brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, Everything. and it cost half for the same stuff. After it was taken out he wrapped it and sent it off on its way. I can take more pictures tomarrow of what it looks like sitting in my shop.

I was jelous of all you guys before I even had my 240. My buddy had a S13 with just a redtop and i thought he was pimp ****, I checked out these forums way back just to get alot of info and never posted... Now I have a 240 and a motor... I am happy

The guy I bought it from usually does contracts but i'll see if I can just come up with a quick business license and have **** imported. My buddy is over in Japan right now and hes the one that hooked me up with this guy... He got a CRX Glass top for 46 bucks... Momo wheels just hangin by the rack fulls, lines and lines of skylines... oh yeah hes brinning back some kouki tail lights for me for 30 bucks hehe. when he gets back I'll have something setup to where we can all get deals. I mean it won't be as cheap as I get it for cuz he sets the prices but they'll be very below resonable. Full adjustable Teins with pillow mounts and camber plates for 600.

The broker I used was Beja Custom House brokers. They are awesome to work with and your stuff gets cleared FAST. He cleared my shipment in 2 days. Never sat around I got my clip in a month or so. Tell them Alex reffered you they may cut you a deal. I got my clip cleared for $202! Not 380 the seller provided me with. I believe their site is http://www.Bejacustomhousebrokers.com and David Beja owns it. They are in Lawrenceville Georgia. 404-642-5036 and fax is 404-806-1115. A++ brokers.

More pics up later. I'm going to need alot of your guys help when this pupppy is ready to go!-Alex

oh of course there will be pix coming. Right now I'm trying to figure out my priorities. Theres a groupbuy for koyo radiators for 269 shipped, I nedd mounts, and theres a guy wanting to sell I/C piping. The motor isn't going to to be ready to drop until tI paint the engine bay and once I do install it I'd want everything I need to get it running. This is going to be fun with lots of hard work included. -Alex

JDM blitz Blow off valve and pipe made for R33... Umm I can't figure out thought which way it freggin goes on. I thought it should replace the big ugly one going over top of the motor... The only way that makes sense is the hot pipe comeing from the turbo to the SMIC in R33 Skyline... If thats the case I'm going to cut the angle end and have it come straight down so I can mate it to a FMIC.

Don't mind my lil Snap on light... I love that thing.
