Nick, I'm so glad you got another one. Looks great, and I really like the wheels. You keeping the other one for parts?

If I don't sell it, then that's the plan. I have a couple of interested parties so we'll see how it pans out. But I'm just glad to have my new Q :D

Great car, Nick. Hope you can keep it covered as it obviously has been sheltered. Love the wheels.

Niiiiiice! I'll spend years trying to get my 91 looking as good as that one does. Truly a lucky find. Like the color too.

Mint, mint, MINT! I -really- dig the cupholder (yeah, so I still want one). Anyone know where I can get one like that?

Youre in Kansas.. not far from St Louis (where I'm at). You should bring your new ride down to Kentucky this weekend for the meet!

VERY nice ride. Glad that your story ended so well.

As Jesda said "You should bring your new ride down to Kentucky this weekend."

I have those rims to put winter tires on, just never did

Rex....

Where did you get those wheels for your car and what brand are they. I really like the "tuff" look of those wheels. I originally wanted a set very similar to those, but the wheel shop could not find a set with the Q's bolt pattern. It seems that these type of wheels were only made for the German type cars...

Thanks for the compliments guys. I really appreciate them. Alas, I won't be able to come down to the meet this Friday as I will be in New York. It is my fiancee's birthday on Saturday, so I must be there. Otherwise, I'd be in KY in a heartbeat.

In regards to the cupholder: she spent around 300 bucks having some company out of Kansas City custom-make her one. It is crazy, it fits PERFECTLY in the center console and has a metal plate attached to the bottom that covers the entire bottom of the console so there are no worries about spilling.

It is currently out of the car because I had my CD changer moved over to my new Q. The shop that did the stereo install is going to cut off part of the metal plate so that both my cupholder and my display for the CD changer fit in the center console.

What a beauty. Better than I was expecting... I LOVE IT.

I agree, you do need to bring it to the meet!!!

I also agree that Robert needs to post pictures of his Q, along with heath and his 50k Q.

I'm almost positive they're OZ Opera's, but I just found that pic randomly on the 'net. That Silver on Silver looks great :D

glad I found this thread. I can't believe the condition of the car, it's beautiful!!

About the wheels, those are the 15X7 BBS ones correct? Do you know what year Q's had those same wheels? I have seen other BBS mesh wheels on Q45's but not with that nice of a lip.

I would like those for my I30 since the lip is much better then the "T" BBS rims the 96 came with, and they are 7" instead of 6.5".

do you know what they weight, I believe my stock T BBS wheels weighed 14lbs.

(BTW, this screen name is my brothers, I have a modified 96 I30t 5spd. I just wanted to reply to this real quick).

The 15x7 BBS's weight approximately 15-16 lbs. They are forged, and incredibly strong for their weight.

However, most have since been curbed or bent out of recognition.

I'm still waiting for BBS to make a 17x8 that looks EXACTLY like the stock Q BBS's..... :(

That combination of the grey/black with the blue steering wheel and dash is a new one to me. Actually Nick's blue q is one of two I have seen!

90Q45blue. That is a beautiful car with a nice exterior/interior color combo. I have seen a few early 90's Qs with the black steering wheel & instrument gage/clock/HVAC & audio/gear selector surround panels with the tan/brown and dark cherry interiors. And now that I think about it, maybe even a 94 with the silver interior. The wheels however are BBS lookalikes that were manufactured by Ronal. And the lowered Q with the staggered OZ Opera II's in the pic Rex posted looks confidently wicked...:angryfire....Danisiti 1

Beautiful Q...definately has been well cared for. It doesn't even appear to have any major dings on it (the one thing that keeps my G20t from looking perfect).

Nice!!! Same color combo and wheels as my 91. I installed a dark woodgrain kit on the dash, goes great with the interior colors. Unfortunatley mine is up on blocks right now, looks like timing chain issues. I am hopefull to find the answers in the next couple of weeks.
