I have 215/40/17 and i have to say, its not really an improvement over the 205 stockers. I love the wide tire look of the porches and other exotics. His car looks amazing! seeing that thing roll up would be intimidating! Although i agree with mabey 1 more inch lower. Very nice stance and camber! bet it hurts the milage though.

No, actually, why would someone do such a thing?
Main reason is to have aggressive wheel fitment so the car can be truly flush.

Another reason is so someone can run a big/wide wheel and spin with less power.

IMHO, Those wheels look to big for a stock body. You need real aggressive aero to pull those off if looks are what you were going for, if so, you also need more of a drop, and again IMHO better looking wheels.

QFT

Any aero would help tremendously. And maybe an inch lower.

Meh, definately not my cup of tea, but if YOU like it that's all that matters.

Still though, it looks better than alot of the cars here in 240gen imo.

Looks good with some real rubber on the ground. I am running 275s myself. I think next time I will try the 285s.

I think when I get my 9" wheels I'm putting a 215 or 225 on them. I don't need lots of grip and stance can look better with stretched tires. Those are my reasons.

Car looks great man, I think a little lower all around and it would be perfect. Other than that it's ridiculously clean.

It would look better if you were dumped and tucking those tires.

I'm not diggin the monster truck status, looks you can drive over curbs with that height.

i picked them up for 255 shipped for both...i plan on dropping the car back down an inch.. i had it two inches lower than what it is now and got tired of dragging on everything... so i think if i go an inch lower all around i will be happy with it

I used to consider fitting this much rubber onto an s chassis the cool thing to do. Then I saw a video of 5 different Time Attack Silvia's lapping Tsukuba at about 58 seconds. Their hp ranged from 450-520 and most of them just ran 255 tires all around. 285 tires are just novelty to me now.

No offense though.

Hold on wait a second...I think you got me confused with someone else because you agreed with me when i asked the question and then i answered to the other guy and now you answered thinking it was a response to you which i then responded to your response and i just realized that you just posted to me without actually realizing you should've posted to jadesr20det, not me.
