wastegate is on manifold under the turbo. lots of lag. boost comes in at 4600 rpm.

Redhatch: Yes, since the turbo is not internally wastegated, the manifold typically has an external wastegate port.

T70/240: We are on the same boat. Gotta love that lag and the rush when boost finally hits.

Hey jookmaster the kit was put on by a friend but after he is complete he will be dropping a new motor and turbo kit in his crx. I would recomend you go to backyard productions in north miami. I would also recomend street legal imports but I don't know where they are located now. XG15 the motor is not built im just going to dyno tune it to run as safe and get the most power out of it as possible. This is not a daily driver, in fact Imight get a chance to drive the car once a month! But when it blows, and it will blow there won't be a thing I don't put in the motor.

how much did it run ya for installation costs? im looking to get this done in the next 6 months if finances permit me. i did look into backyard productions before tho. good people and very helpful and down to earth. they suggested that i get the jwt ecu tho b/f gettin the kit on so that explains the time frame mentioned a couple lines ago. but now that ive heard of scott doing a possible KA rom, it may be worth my wait to see how that option pans out. what are u using for timing? also congrats on the beautiful setup

jookmaster: I have a jwt ecu so the timing is set to stock and the ecu controls it. do you have anything so far? As far as cost on install I don't even know yet it is a friend thats doing it so not much.
