Finally found a nice set of rears at the JY and I guess I couldn't wait to see them on. I think they turned out slick. They only needed to be cleaned and painted. I have a set of fronts being reconditioned that aren't ready yet.

Constructive criticism? I think it gives it a totally 80's look and I love it!

I shot them with satin black Rustoleum just to freshen them up a touch.

Diggin it. I love the hardbody trucks, very comparable lines to an R30. It would make a good support vehicle.

That's a serious complement coming from you because you can be critical of cars which is very admirable. Thanks and I am honored.

Your truck is so sanitary and well-executed anybody who can't appreciate it has something wrong with them. It would look killer with a DR30 two tone paint scheme. :bigthumb:

I never really noticed the hardbody until I started seeing pics of yours, Rev. Now I have made it my mission to have one. I am a big fan of clean, unpretentious utility and your ride has that in spades. Beautiful.

Sadly there are not too many up in my area that aren't swiss cheese.... :(

+1.

I dated a girl in HS that bought one of the first D21's to arrive in the area... a light metallic blue truck IIRC. Ditched the chick, but fell hard for the truck. I'll own one someday - they're just too cool.

Off Topic:

Red Eye Imports in Rochester NY built me a set of sill plates using my gray parts truck sills as a template. Just got them on this afternoon. Is a little bling bad?

At least you have carpet. Igor is covered with heat-reflective Dynamat for floor covering. You can still hear that screaming 3-banger under your a** though.

Best looking hardbody around. If I were to ever get a truck, it would be one of those. Great work man. Where's the write-up? ;)

Its a shame that most older Nissan trucks around these parts have rusted away. We had one when I was a kid -- a super dependable, sharp looking 5-speed King Cab. I wish we hadn't traded it for the Sentra, because it could have ended up being my first car. :(

Also, I'm in favor this shade of blue making a comeback.

They are staying black. When I said I painted them, I painted them flat black so they looked new again.
