Well, it's about damn time. The snow is gone and the weather has warmed up. I brought the pulsar in the garage 2 days ago. The hood is nearly done, the wiring is getting all cleaned up, the grounding kit is in, the rust is 90% gone, the rockers and wheels wells have been made and just need to be welded in, then I just have to go over everything with a fine toothed comb before I start primering it (this can wait) but besides that, everything is going smoothly and this car should FINALLY be on the street soon.

here's the pics. There are only 4 of them at the moment and I am using them as a refference so that I can see what needs to be done, what has been done, and how much of a change has taken place. Im still cleaning up the wiring at the moment. I'll have more pics tonight.

Pic 2 is a relocation of my relays incase you were wondering what that was. I still have to install the inspection cover under the car so it won't get wet.

Enjoy

Here's some pics of the hood. The scoop is from a WRX and I stepped down the hood to make it fit nice and snug. Unfortunatly the stepper didnt work as well as I had suspected so I had to do alot of it by hand and body tools. I did what I could and then decided that I will make it look nice and uniform by putting some filler on the hood and making the scoop look like it was 'made' with the hood.

All I have to do now is primer it... Im just waiting for the hood to dry a little more:

Looks good, man. I know you like the WRX STi look, but that stock intercooler is going to cost you all kinds of power. If you're planning to do any track fun, lose the fake @$$ top mount intercooler .

I hear ya... I'm just gunna run that stock intercooler until I upgrade the turbo. When that takes place im going to be getting a bigger FMIC, installing my safc2, injectors, boost controller, and then I have to get a fuel pump.. So until I rebuild my turbo and get a 255 fuel pump im just gunna leave it as is

I wonder how much heat soak you could eliminate by wrapping the OEM turbo manifold in header wrap or getting it hot jet coated? (being that the stock IC piping runs right next to it)

Just an idea.

I mounted a FMIC on a Nissan Sunny (Pulsar) GTI-R last year, my god, like a new car...Best upgrade you can do on that model I think, after that we mounted a Mitsu 19T turbo, mbc, Bosch -040 fuel pump, 3" turboback and custom tuning.

This car made ET 12.8 at the first drag day, very good for these mods! But SR20DET, 2200 lbs and 4WD might be the answer...
