ha yea those are my customer intercooler brackets, but they hold that thing in place like no other. ebay fans ftmfw, and it never even gets past the 3rd lin on the temp gauge

Hey driftmyke, I see that you didnt relocate your battery and still ran the piping from the intake manifold down to the intercooler. Mind showing me some pics how you looped that around the car? It would be much appreciated since I am trying to do the same thing for my car.

yea relocating batterys is stupid to me so i bought this intercooler kit from xspower

its really cheap, pretty good quality and you dont have to relocate the battery

Looks like a nice swap. From looking at the engine bay pics though, I'd say your heater problem is because you don't have the friggin' heater hoses hooked up! LOL. When you say it's a wiring problem, do you mean when you turn on the heat the blower motor doesn't come on or you just don't get warm air. RB's are heat monsters so hook up those hoses (if you haven't already) and bask in the summa time cumin out yo vents!!

Looks pretty clean. You cant see in those pics if the heater hoses are hooked up or not. Have you checked to see if the plug to the blower motor is getting a good power and ground?

thanks for all the complements on the clean swap, thats what i pride myself on. i have the hoses hooked up, when i trun my heat on my vents do not blow any air at all, i checked the fuse and its fine.

does any of the swap wiring have anythign to do with the heater

Man I couldnt get that radiator to fit for the life of me.. What kind is it? and how did you fit it? Are you using an r32 crossmember?

That's a mishimoto radiator and by judging how the motor sits it looks like a mount kit.

Same swap as me almost exactly. Same intercooler, same rad, same engine..

With that kit did you have to cut and part of the frame from the passenger(battery) side? or does it loop down and around the frame and connect to the intercooler?

Does the intercooler piping scrap when you go over bumps if the piping wraps around the frame? Sorry Im just confused to how the pipings route w/o modifications.

Mind taking a pic from your car on how you routed your pipings?

Congrats!! One more rb owner on the road, welcome to the club..... looks like NICO may have to start a "running rb club" now to offset the "non-running rb club" LOL

With the xs power kit you need to cut a 3inch hole under the battery tray for the cold pipe and elongate the stock air box hole by about 3 inches towards the firewall to make clearence. the pipes shouldn't hit the ground ebfore the core does..
