I took some pics at a drifting event this week end in cali (willow springs). I am also posting picks of my engine swap.

Ive been daily driving her for a little over 1000 miles now and still no problems other than a slight oil leak from my turbo oil return line, and that transmission noise i hear every once in a while.

So what do you guys think? I absolutly love my ca!!

BTW: does anyone have a powersteering pump? My arms are sore from the drifting event!

I've got a P/S pump off a 30k engine that I won't be needing (no P/S in the MG). Send me an email, bawana at frii.com.

Project is looking good!

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!

rico05: The VPC is great! I once blew my intercooler piping off on the highway and it didnt affect my car, other than not being able to boost the car still drove fine since i dont require a MAF and it takes the air readings directly from the air intake manifod (like a honda). so i just kept on driving until i got home then fixed the piping. As for the tunning, it wasnt as hard as everyone said it was going to be. You can adjust the throttle response, air fuel ratio, and idle. Just turn the knobs and see how the car responds, pretty simple if you ask me. (im sure i can get it tuned alot better if i take it to a dyno, but its honestly not too hard). I have the actual manual if you want a copy. (or if you have any specific questions just ask).

tyrannix: Actually i dont know where that part connects to, i just pluged it, That pipe is an s14 Greddy cold pipe. There is another smaller pipe on the other side (you cant see) that connects to my intake manifold though.

mikesim: hmm my response... well this is my first turboed car so i cant compare it to anything else, and ive never driven another turboed car either. But i pretty much dont feel the "boost" until about 3k rpms +. It reaches maxs boost around 4-5krpms then either falls a little or remains steady.

Vein Pressure Converter. You use it to convert a MAFS system to a MAPS system.
