Anyway, you can see the bags blew, but the dash cover covers it nicely. You don't even notice the steering wheel while in the car. Some edges are a little dinged up, but overall the car is in great condition beyond the airbags!

I have no idea what kind of rims or exhaust these are, but the exhaust sounds pretty nice surprisingly, and the rims will probably be replaced when I do a 5 lug swap and/or replace my tires. Oh, and don't worry, pinstripes are coming off soon. Heck, they are falling off now :pface

Also, the tape on the cluster is to black out the airbag light, and it has a real crappy tape deck, but a 6 cd changer in the trunk!

Any questions/comments? :D

Was it in an accident? Is that why the steering wheel and passengers air bag (assuming there was one) are all f-ed up?

It looks really nice though, very clean, nice paint too.

Oh, nevermind. Good call on the pinstripes :bearchug

Yeah, totalled, that's why it was only $4000 for a '96 with under 100k miles. I saw a picture of it totalled, only damage was to the front bumper/hood/headlight. All replaced, then complete car repaint. You can clearly see that there is no remaining damage, and might notice the passenger side headlight isn't yellow yet (but the sidemarker is really bad and needs to be fixed). I am going to get it buffed and detailed when I get home to make sure it looks in tip top shape. Maybe reupholster the dash as well to make the passenger side look nice. I also have a lead on a new steering wheel, so that's in the works.

Black, I'm definately interested in the charger. You can get me through e-mail at [email protected] and tell me how to pay and all that stuff. If you think of anything else I might need let me know, could just ship it all together :pface

btw, thanks:)

nice car...and IMO, American Racing are high quality rims, real popular though...and they have gotten a bit cheaper over the years...like the 20s that my bro got for 2000 with Goodyear Eagles...

Hey man nice car. that muffler looks APC though. Ive seen it on a lot of cars and APC makes one just like it. http://www.4apc.net/home.htm

was it considered totaled just because the airbags deployed? it must of been some light damage. cause the car looks great!

From the picture I saw of it totalled, it looked like it hit a truck or something taller than it. The front bumper was practically untouched (but replaced anyway), the passenger headlight broke and was replaced, and the hood was crumpled a little (also replaced). He replaced those parts and the radiator, got the complete car repainted, and I think that's about it. The motor pulls super strong, feels faster than the other 1995 240sx I drove a few weeks ago :D

I think I'm going to try to work on getting the dash repaired, but its really not a big deal. The cover looks just fine.

Also I've noticed the front corner light (next to the headlight) on the passenger side is dim and yellow. I'll have to check that out as soon as I get a chance.

BTW, thanks for all the compliments people!

yep, looks good, im wanting a s14 to add to my collection, maybe in a year or so! but the rims are prob from sears , the exhaust i dare to guess APC ! i think there are a few s14s parting out in buy sell section you may be able to get a dash from one of them rather cheap! and with such minimal damage it still looks good, does it pull left or right at all , or seem like your driving slightly crooked?

nah, everything's straight, tried releasing the wheel and alignment is perfect, even under hard braking it doesn't pull :)Also, new rotors, so brakes are nice and strong. I was thinking about doing the 300zx brake swap and 5 lug conversion, but these brakes are strong as is! It's crazy! :D

I think one reason so many people have that exaust is because its APC but still looks ok.
