Hey Folks,

I finally got around to snapping a few pics of my Q last weekend. Well, here she is..... Original drivetrain, paint and 175K on the clock. More pics in members rides... if you go there, check out my daily driver...a Dodge Dakota V8... it's a 93' and just as clean as the Q.

What a color! Just tooth brush my BBS 1995 Q45t wheels and my wife's 20 slot 2K Q45 wheels Sunday. Sore wrist today.

Beautiful, that paint is amazing!

The wheels really do modernize the car.

I get double looks, when I tell people that my car is 10 years old, they are amazed, too (your sig quote).

Please let me give you one piece of advice. Get rid of the flares, before it is too late. They will destroy the paint, if they haven't already. Once they have been on, you can never take them off, without re-painting the fenders. I know - I had some flares on my 1995 Nissan Pickup.

The chrome trim on the fenders were on the car long before I became the owner. I suspect that they were put on the car when new. I didn't like them at first, but after I put the wheels on, they didn't seem so bad. I don't see taking them off since there must be some discoloration underneath. I've had to replace them once over the years due to dents or discoloration. One plus of having them is that they take some of the abuse that would have been inflicted on the fender flare itself. I had a lousy driver hit the side of my garage once and the trim was heavily dented but protected the body from much heavier damage. I still havent replaced that piece of trim yet but it's off the car. (drivers side) Remember the fender flare is the widest part of the body aside from the side view mirrors. Honestly though, you have to use fender trim tastefully since they can make a car look very tacky. You can always find some on e-bay.

The wheels on the car are 18" Konig Toxxins and have been on it for about 3 years now. They are no longer being made. I'm not a big fan of chrome rims... I think that brushed metal look is more effective in retaining the classy look of the Q. I must say that the wider tires really helped improve the handling.

I got it while living in NYC. The car spent most of it's life on Long Island. The body is in great condition. The underside shows that it's dealt with it's share of salt though.

Jesda, here is a link for fender trim on ebay.

It's got 175K on it. I'll take pics of the interior and post soon. The pictures are very kind. I only wish I were as photogenic.

It's not flawless.... got it's share of little dings here an there but still excellent condition for a 14 year old. Some leather cracks in the armrest and driver's seat bolster are about the only detractions for the interior. I gutted the Bose system and installed a pioneer double-din CD/cassette unit and aftermarket speaker... (hence the free Q radio giveway in another post)... There is a power amp sitting below where the storage tray in the rear deck used to be...I removed it for bass passage and access to the Amp from the back seat. The pop-up door is still there though so no one knows what lies underneath. A removable double-ended 8" bazooka tube (old school) sits in the trunk.... of course, I only did those things after doing the chain guides, transmission cooler and other high priority needs. I really try not to spend a lot on this car even though I've been slacking as of late...... aside from the head unit, the entire sound system was from my old car. I bought $tillen adjustable tension rods and drilled rotors (non-Stillen) and they are sitting in the garage waiting for a warm day when I can once again become aquainted with the concrete.

BTW: Has anyone seen affordable strut-tower braces recently? What happened to those "$7.00" 2000 Maxima braces on ebay I heard about? I REALLY want one!

I don't know about $7, but I paid $13 for mine.

I think I started the threads about that.

Look for a 00 Maxima bar. The feet are ususally crappy, but fine for street use. My last one, was from BOMZ racing. You might try a search on Yahoo, or somewhere.

Okay okay, $13.00 it is. Now, I've gone to the Bomz website and they just list a bunch of dealers. Which one did you use or did you get it off ebay?
